GOD trolls in science forums.

Every single science forum I have been on, I have always noticed trolls that have slipped through the net, and become long active members.
I believe these people to be ''Trolls of God'', trying to destroy science, and trying always to get ideas thrown into the bin.
Often comments of ban him, and often only able to attribute in the way of reciting WIKI , and unable to answer questions on their own merit. ''You are wrong because wiki says so''. These are the famous words of the ''god trolls''.

As long as there is a forum for religion there's nothing wrong with them having their say. We all have the right to either believe or not about anything and talking about it in the proper forum should always be allowed.

I agree asking questions is not a destructive manner, I am saying there is persons all over the internet pretending to be science types, when really they are ''god trolls'' trying to disrupt science the best they can , by destroying all theories , using wiki, and simply calling the theory creator , a troll, saying they are wrong.
I believe these persons have gone unnoticed, it is not in true human nature to act this way when talking to people.

In my opinion this thread is kind of trollish.

Citing Wikipedia seems to far better than saying 'It's so because I say so'. I think that many Wikipedia articles are very good. It's true that Wikipedia probably shouldn't be cited in formal papers, largely because of its authors' anonymity, but Sciforums isn't a university classroom or an online journal. It's great that people are reading Wikipedia articles on the subject of Sciforums threads and trying to incorporate what they learn in their posts. That should happen more often and it probably should be encouraged.

 

I haven't noticed this here. Our believers generally have unique responses to the god question. Uniquely bad, but still, rarely trollish.

 

Where else do you expect them to go to start their deprogramming?

I don't think they have gone unnoticed because others usually see them for who they are and get in their faces with facts instead of beliefs. It bis when people keep bringing this up all of the time that I dislike and wish they would keep their issues in the religion forums and not the science areas. Many times however the moderators will see them and move their conversations to the proper forum.
