So, changed guess to extension cord.

In my defence... i also have a portable phone (no cord) an even a trac-fone (cell phone)... an the phone in the bathroom was mostly for employee calls while we was gettin ready early in the mornin.!!!

I once called a guy about some fire wood an his wife answrd the phone... it sounded like she was in a big barrel... i coud hear little water splashes an squeak sounds as she moved in the tub... lol... if they had been closer frinds i woud have told her... "i guess you dont know it... but i have video phone an its on"

I haven't had a landline phone for some 6 years now, I only use my cell...

I can use it in the bathroom I guess, but my luck being what it is, it would wind up falling in the toilet or tub.

 

The cord on my phone ant long enuff to fall in the pot or tub... so... thats a "win" for landline an "zip" for cell phone

they don't make them like that anymore.. hell, I have seen them fly through windows and still work..

 

I haven't seen the one on top since the 90's, and the bottom one since the 70's... Lol.

 

That might be the green phone i threw away about 5 years ago... it worked grate but i hadnt used it for years.!!!

Oops... i have 6 corded phones... i forgot about the one on the fax machine.!!!
