Hayo Miyazaki created the animation studio Ghibli, the success of this studio can be spelled through naming of just a few of the aforementioned animations: Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Ponyo, Castle in the Sky.

And now he left the group.

    Is like harakiri.

    And why?

    As he said:
    And what will he do?

His future work will include the Ghibli's Museum:

The Nutcracker and the Mouse King

    &

The Lens at Work in The Ghibli Forest

And a link with a newsstory about one the most well-known Japanese anime directors of all time. Thanks YourEyes for educating the uninformed. I just ordered 6 of his movies from Amazon, including Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and Ponyo. I love his magical surrealistic storylines. Sometimes when I remember back, I can't tell if I actually saw something in his movies or dreamed it.
