The trouble is not that this thread has been revisited, it is that nothing in the subject of this thread has been commented on by the revisit. Just idle chatter. It had vanished into obvilion until it was dug up.
i made a comment on the fact that we considerably increased our post counts and i think that this thread was also a good reflection of the everchanging dynamics of sciforums: in fact that there can be a huge variation in the amount of posts a person makes according to a phase they are going through. For example Adam has stoppped at the moment...others changed their habits. If we would draw conclusions from this then we might say the the picture of today isn't necessarily similar to that of tomorrow. Maybe the few 'chat' offenders will change their habits in the near future, and maybe others take their place. my only mistake is that i do not explain things to much, because I assume that we all operate on a certain intellectual level and can analyze data for ourselves. Someone else might have drawn a different conclusion from this thread and that would be fine too. maybe i shall explain my posts more in detail in the future.
