So you have no inclination of engaging with people to clarify your thoughts any better than you have? Got it. You're just a rude and dismissive troll who is careless of his communication and blame others for your lack of conciseness.

Why do you keep posting if you don't even care if you're understood?

Just checking for typos etc and saw this from you.

    Mate, you have that backwards.

I expect YOU to FIRST make the effort at understanding instead of just kneejerking and expecting a 'finished product' from the word 'go'. These OP's and discussions are supposed to STIMULATE THOUGHTS OF YOUR OWN, and not just to provide you with the opportunity to whine about others while YOU do nothing to help yourself when others are too pressed for time other than to be able to pose OP's inviting YOUR OWN original insights into the matter no matter how 'incomplete' it has been presented.

Now stop your whining and think about whatever it is you do understand when you bother to take the time to think rather than whine about others doing what they genuinely can given their circumstances. Life is uncertain and not amenable to do your bidding as and how you would like it. Do the best YOU can with what comes along. That is the scientist's way, not the whinger's way. Get to it and stop your moaning which wastes time and goodwill and only distracts from what possibilities a thread MIGHT involve if approached with proper attitude of co-operation and discussion and not kneejerking and whining. OK?

Back when I can. Today, tomorrow, never....who knows? Just get on with it and stop fixating on being spoon fed at every turn. This is new ideas time, not old moans time. Enjoy life rather than spoil it for everybody who is not YOU. Thanks.

And again another original refrain from AlexG. Mate, you are getting less relevant by the post. Wake up to yourself and stop the "Trout-ish" stupidity and arrogance. Do you have a life and original work to see to? If so, then stop wasting time with your mindless trolling.

Yes yes, we know it was to 'test' me to see if I would post again before I logged out. You're a 'mastemind' of tactics that waste time but do nothing original or of worth to anybody including science. Satisfy your ego at the cost of advancing science discussions. Just like Trout did....even though he was wrong in fact. Go figure...who's the troll here?

We've had to put up with RC's trolling for years over at Physforum. Now he's here, in a perfect example of cross-forum contamination.

Haha, cross-contamination by AlexG and his usual stale refrains. Oh what it must be to have your 'original mind', mate!

Anyhow, you have the last word as I've run out of time. You obviously have no qualms about wasting others time, so have at it, Trout-acolyte'! Cheers!

You know there is nothing like a good food fight, but what has it to do with the constancy of the speed of light?

I already made the effort, and asked specific questions for you to clarify. But apparently you're not interested in any actual discussion. This OP was fully answered in the first response to it, and you're contributions cannot "stimulate" anything if they cannot be deciphered. Is there a decoder ring for your posts?

So it's "whining" when someone expects you to be able to clarify what you've said? Here I was under the impression that science was precise and could be communicated clearly. The best I can do definitely doesn't include taking some nonsense a fellow can't be bothered to clarify seriously. So waste someone else's time with all your ad hominems.

Light is independent of both, observer and 'source', and its motion is related only with surrounding medium. Therefore linear speed of light should be measured only with respect to its surroundings. If surrounding medium has a steady nature, speed of light is constant irrespective of its direction. If nature of surrounding medium changes, speed of light also will change (provided we use the same scale for time).
