Well, let's parse it. "I believe love is the urge to do good. True love is when it's executed." "I believe love is the urge to do good" - biochemical at best, an extremely ephemeral philosophical idea at least. Love can be selfish, love can be one sided, love can be unrequited, yes? "True love is when it's executed." - Ahhh... True love. True according to who's standards? How is this objective? How are you not using love to define love? because you put that "true" qualifier in there? Really? Expound...
:-( You obviously didn't read all the text of my first comment, or at least the rest of the text that supports my idea (about religious/non-religious etc.). I also stated with others (not you specifically so it's okay that you question the true love part) that love and true love are just words with definitions. If a person doesn't believe in true love or what have you, it's okay. My idea as a whole can just be love and doesn't have to include true love. Adding true love was just me trying to be poetical.
Thanks, I forgive you. Indeed, we still differ on whether action is necessary. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I think it is better if we just go with the idea that true love and love are the same. That's my proposal, anyhow. I think we are at an impasse, for the most part. I'd like to throw in something to consider, though. My view is that the a better description for action rooted in love is kindness. I think I'll go back to sitting on the sidelines now.
EVERYTHING is an expression of love and it is expressed because if it is not then the "lover" will be brought to tears. Some examples: poo, a man with carrots up his bottom and an onion. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Thank you. And yes of course. You can put my poetry aside haha. Hmmm okay. I might be a little confused with that idea. But i won't be specific on why. Sounds good. I'll do the same for now.
