So pilots , military and police witnesses are all fiction observations

We have gone to far in thinking that these people are just the plain wrong all the time , everytime

No, they probably actually saw something, they just were not able to identify it and they did not establish that it was aliens. Unidentified does not equal aliens, it just means unidentified. Those who convinced themselves that they were seeing an alien spacecraft were mistaken UNTIL AND UNLESS EVIDENCE(solid, repeatable, valid evidence, not out of focus videos of moving lights)IS FOUND OF ALIEN SPACECRAFT ACTUALLY EXISTING. It's exactly the same standard we use for ghosts, werewolves, fairies or vampires. Aliens most probably do exist throughout the Universe, but existing is not the same thing as having the ability to visit Earth, that is very, very, very unlikely, ever.

No, that's just the reality. It is safe to say that there will never be an alien visitor from another civilization. The odds are figuratively and actually astronomical. That MAY NOT be true in denser sections of our Galaxy, but the crowded places are usually the ones with the deadliest radiation levels(unlike our very low radiation exposure). Every UFO sighting has basically a zero likelihood of being an alien spacecraft. It is in the same class of likelihoods that it is actually a formation of vampires each holding a Tinkerbell fairy. Unless and until.

They are UNIDENTIFIED until they are identified. They are always identified as Earthly sources, so why assume they are aliens when those that are identified always turn out NOT to be aliens? Does that make sense to you? No one has ever seen an alien spacecraft, they are an urban(or modern)legend. Aliens are probably real, it is the interstellar travel that means none of them have ever come here.

Not at all. When they say they saw an "unidentified flying object" they are 100% correct. They could not identify it. That does not mean it was a space alien.

They aren't wrong; they did see UFO's. They just didn't see alien spaceships.

How do you know that these spaceships were not alien ?

Obviously the source is unknown...Hence UFO.
The possibility of it being from an Alien culture is non zero, but pretty remote.

So are you suggesting the gathering of knowledge of UFO's is pointless ?

No more pointless than researching the history of Dracula, the vampire(not Vlad Tepes, called "Vlad the Impaler", a vicious, but purely mortal warlord in Transylvania on whom the myth is based). Or researching the fauna of Superman's home planet of Krypton. Or learning Klingon. Or hunting snipes at camp.

In face of course, the equally inane suggestion that serious investigation into the UFO phenomenon is not warranted.

Ah yes, bring out the tooth fairy argument skeptics like to abuse and fully misuse. There is no question among top scientists whether alien life exists. There is no analogy to the tooth fairy as there is to alien life, whether they are visiting us or not. One has a high possibility, the other simply a fairy tale.

Obviously... but then look who I am talking to.

Yes, it is probably quite common for alien life to exist ON IT'S OWN HOME PLANET.

Here's where your train of thought derails and plunges into the river. IT IS ANALOGOUS to alien spacecraft visiting Earth. There is such a huge leap between alien life existing and alien life visiting Earth that it covers the whole spectrum of probability, from almost certainty(that alien life exists)to almost certainly not(that they are flying around us on Earth). Alien life existing is not alien spacecraft visiting. Earth life has existed for over 3.5 billion years, yet we have barely visited our own moon(a few light seconds away), much less traveled to another star(the nearest is over 4 light years away). Nobody here is arguing about the existence of alien life, but their being able to travel between star systems is a whole other, much more difficult thing to do. You have a big blind spot in your thinking, you don't see the difference because you have given it little actual thought. It's like expecting that because Koala Bears exist that they are buzzing your house in fighter planes they constructed out of Bamboo and Eucalyptus gum(that is much, much more possible and easier to do than travel between stars, you know. Even for Koala Bears). Or like seeing an unknown flying object and ASSUMING it is Koala Bears in Bamboo fighter planes(that's what you are doing). There is simply no scientific value in studying Bamboo fighter planes flown by Koalas, and I can show you a picture of a Koala(they are an ALIEN species here). The situation with aliens visiting Earth is many orders of magnitude more unlikely. And you are entirely too naive, ignorant and gullable to figure that out on your own.

Alright Trapped, we all know that "caps lock is cruise control for cool", but tone it down a notch, aight? No need to get facetious now... though granted, both your post and Grumpy's are a bit.... shall I say out there (Koala bears in bamboo fighter planes?)

Personally, I'm 100% certain life exists elsewhere... it simply KNOWS BETTER than to try and contact us. After all, look at what a train wreck we've made of our own planet/species/society... if I were an advanced alien life, I wouldn't want anything to do with the inhabitants of the Sol system either!
