over 60 years later after the attempt of the avrocar, the Chinese have come closest to creating a saucer shaped craft that may be similar to non-conventional sightings. This is a hypersonic gliding aircraft. Hypersonic speed range lies between Mach 5 and Mach 10, or 3,840 to 7,680 miles per hour. http://rt.com/news/supersonic-china...ction_types=og.likes&fb_ref=.UtUfUtFjovU.like And one last interesting thing to note, the hypersonic range was very limited back in the early 40's-50's and it wasn't until 20 years later from 1952 we reached the supersonic speed of a little over 4000 miles per hour using the rocket powered X-planes. Any objects reported to be seen, intercepted and even chased between the periods of 1940-1952 could not have performed speeds equivalent to 7000 miles per hour as was recorded by officials during the 1952 Washington UFO flap.
As millions of Chinese die daily due to lack of proper sanitation, polluted water supplies and rancid foods. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...3YHIDw&usg=AFQjCNEgl0pu6V8Kk_lgvdEU592JzMv-Sg
Perhaps the Chinese are just trying to make open what has been going on all along in the US in the fifties T.T.Brown found by accident antigravity And in the fifties the US military stole his research Just saying
One can only hope this leads to inovative new forms of public transport between countries, and is not used to actually deliver any missiles. it's 2014 and we still resort to dropping bombs on people Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! does anyone else think that we're electing the wrong people to lead our countries?
I wish you would stop talking about him, you are not helping yourself by encouraging people to read about him, because his "anti-gravity" is nonsense
I'm not seeing what you think is so special about this, Trapped. A "hypersonic gliding aircraft" is just the head of an ICBM - we've had ICBMs since the late 1950s. We don't do re-entry phase guidance because it isn't typically necessary for a nuclear warhead since the accuracy is already fairly good, but if you want to quibble about the steerability, that's still such old news that we recently de-commissioned our "hypersonic gliding aircraft" after decades of use. Also, your post implies you think our first hypersonic airplane flight was in 1972, when in fact it was 1961.
I just posted this because it is closest thing I have seen so far in any military's inventory resembling a flying saucer since avrocar. I don't know why you draw 1972, but the only date I specify is 1952 when supersonic speeds where limited.
I'm confused: did you post the wrong link or forget what you were discussing? The vehicle isn't saucer shaped, it is wedge shaped. For the date, you said "...20 years later from 1952..."
Sorry... missed the operative word I used in the OP: ''closest'' thing to saucer craft we have had The 20 years on, is about the X-plane reaching a little over 4000 miles per hour. I am not saying supersonic aircraft originated then, I am talking about technological capabilities, ie, speed.
Trapped Yet another subject you know all about. The speed of sound was broken by MANNED aircraft in 1947(though several of the Natters and at least one ME163 in Germany exceeded the speed of sound in testing, none of them reached the ground again in one piece). Unmanned machines had been breaking the speed of sound for DECADES before that(most were bombs of one sort or another dropped from high altitude) Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! No such record exists, the 7000 mph came from your anus. Only UFO nutjobs claim any such thing, it is not a fact. GrumpyPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I never said anything about when the speed of sound was broken. Grumpy, if you cant' actually follow what is being said, probably best you don't say a word at all.
So on that momentous day, no one saw several objects flying over the white house capitol, in which radar evidence collected evidence of the objects speeds and trajectories. You can be as ignorant and stupid on the subject all you want. It doesn't bother me.
Take a good look at the insinuations grumpy threw about in the last post. Just look at what a sceptic is reduced to when evidence is shown to them that they cannot explain. They crumble, they get angry and try and divert the attention away by calling me by names. This sceptics, is why you are not taken seriously by top UFO researchers. This is why, we think you are inefficient to understand the subject; because when it comes down to it, you can't. You resort to ad hominems, so I should just presume you can't talk about the subject.
Correct. No such evidence existed or was even claimed to have existed at the time of a 7000 mph speed measurement of a visually confirmed object (at least according to the wiki article you keep citing). You know it, but keep trotting out this lie. Again: when you know things happened a week apart, but claim they happened simultaneously, that's a lie.
But it isn't at all close. Heck, our Apollo spacecraft were closer to saucer shaped than that! What do you see that makes you compare it to a saucer? Right: so you are off by a decade.
