i got this on google as well, through a search for "magnetic gun rail mass driver" during a research period for a physics course
As with everybody else, and as this is a much unneeded reply, I found this through Google, looking for information on the expansion of the Universe.
I can't remember how I found this place. But I do still come here probably three times a day--which is more than ever. I don't post that often because I'm not interested, that's all. The first forums I go to are WE&P and Scifi, because, well, I have a responsibility to them. I don't plan on leaving. My local friends though, apparently all of them, have departed for good. Every once in awhile they'll mention how nerdy it is for me to come here. I believe Jarrod (cactus jack) mentioned that he saw no more interest in philosophy, that's why he doesn't come here, even if the place is still his homepage.... Rich (oedipus) agreed with him. Pete (Psycho_Potatoe) may come on every once in awhile but he tells me that he gets into fights a lot so he kinda laid off... Mackenzie (Uberdragon) is just a dumbass. And Joe (mr_sixty two or something like that) said that he was coming back but then he didn't. Possibilities remain open it seems. My question is--what happens to all the members who never say anything, eh?
Does that bother you by any means that i have garnered a quite a few posts in a short while i have been here??....oh well i guess it's nice to be recognized for something. I found this place through google while i was searching for a read on Antimatter....but somehow i ended up on the naked thread. I will continue to post as long as this place interests me and if that bothers anybody well then...i guess start a thread about it and complainPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

It's easy...interesting topics on threads, no social interaction (i fear it literally), no life, no job, procastination of other work, DSL connection for quick back and forth browsing, and affinity for learning things that completely elude me. I Don't spam, i don't piss off people, i don't post crap, i don't have to prove myself but somehow i am not as indifferent to other peoples opinions as i thought i was.

I use to post here about a year and a half ago, maybe more. I just started visiting again. I only know the OLD people here :bugeye: I can't remember how I found this. I think it was a link from another site while I was looking for something. It's good to be back and I'll try to keep my big mouth shut unless I know what the hell I'm talking about. Thank you, it is ironic but i guess since i can't see you or your expressions it doesn't scare me that you are judging me. I only see your words and they are not threatening, only their intended meanings are. As long as no eye contact is involved it's all good. Also why do the older users have some amount of contempt of new users. On more than one occasion i have seen older members make their contempt visible in their posts and some have outright admitted it. why??? give us newbies a chance. And yes i do live at home still. Why ask???

I was googling for information on the shuttle disaster, and found a discussion here on it. Soon after people invaded the thread with 'god did it', 'ufos shot it down', 'it was terrorism', 'it's a US plot for pity', 'NASA is negligent'.... and I decided to call these people on their 'claims'. I've been doing it ever since.
Who knows. Probably feel like their territory is being invaded or sumpin. That's too bad you (and other newbies) are getting that. I also think a lot older users may be bitter that other old members don't post so much.
