Barring a very broad concept of human dissatisfaction -- of the sort possibly addressed by buddhistic adages -- there is no universal answer for that which would solve every individual case. Sometimes, as Big Pharma cliches go, it may just be a chemical imbalance. When one's life is actually well-integrated into the community and features an abundance of classically fulfilling elements -- or there's no apparent reason for the feeling that way, even after following some guideline investigations.
It's not necessarily a problem with you. We are all starving for hope in a world that doesn't communicate any. Look for hope to ease the emptiness.
