Nope, I think knowledge is a good thing, as well as understanding, in some cases wisdom and cheesecake.
Not everyone may like cheesecake, but at least someone was capable of providing someone with the opportunity of experience its fabulous flavors. :xctd:
See where I’m going with this? :bugeye:

The only "game" here is you misreading my post and then insisting I discuss from now on only what you misinterpeted me as saying. I said nothing about feeling responsible for other people's misfortunes. I said there is an anxiety and helplessness in constantly finding about events you have no control over. An earthquake in Guatamala. A bombing in Syria. A tornado in Missouri. We are constantly stimulated to be concerned about situations we have no power to remedy or prevent. I'm saying that can create anxiety. But it can also create a bond with other humans. Why do you have to make things so damned complicated?

Would you want to know all the sordid details of a person's life before dating them? All the mistakes they've made and the bad relationships they've had? I wouldn't. Some things are better left forgotten. And people change.

Ignorance is Bliss vs. The Repercussions of Knowledge

Both have legitimate applications in the way of circumstance. As all encompassing ideologies, are fallible and potentially damaging.

Here's another instance of "bad knowledge". You know how they sequester jurors and keep them under a media blackout during the trial? No information from TV, newpapers, or radio as this may bias their decision. This is a case where knowledge can actually lead you to make a bad decision.
