I fell in love with a girl like you recently...she is also fighting for rights of women, but she is from South America. How would you help those girls out once you leave the country?

Their hardships? Have you tried contacting a publisher outside your country to have your book read in another country? Maybe you can use a style of journalism and prosecution of women in your country to gain support of others, get yourself out, and than fight on...

Go to USA regional consulate office and ask for assistance.

oh I mean FGM. it's my field of specialization lol

actually my novel won't be published from my country. i was thinking of publishing it under a pen name and I'm not allowed to have a pen name in my country so i decided to work with a foreign publisher. i decided to publish it under my real name anyway

Wouldn't you put your family in jeopardy by doing so. Even if your the one who is the "rebel" wouldn't the government frown upon your family for allowing you to write about things that the government doesn't like?

So, if you love your country, probably you just need to move from your small town to a larger town or city in your country. Have you thought about moving to the capital of your country?

Excuse me, why is New Zealand the best place for women in the world?

You could marry someone from a western country, then you could leave and work all you want.

that would be how western women act, she has dignity and cares for lifes of others, not just her own. So marrying someone just to get the citizenship is not part of her agendas.

Forget honor, she just wants to get out of her country so she's not killed. And maybe she would fall in love.

and you are proposing how to turn her into an evil girl that the west has cultivated plenty. Using someone elses heart for own advantage and then screwing them over for self benefit. What love? What "maybe"?

    A bit..

So you believe that your life is at risk in your home country because you are an atheist.. Have you started contacting universities abroad and work agencies to work abroad?

You are afraid that your parents may cause you harm? And/or your relatives?

Have you considered contacting the police in a major city or town that is not near where you currently live and advise them of your concerns?

Your country is committed to protecting all of its citizens and apostasy is not deemed a criminal offense in your country. So if you fear for your safety, the best and first thing you need to do is to contact the police and a lawyer, as well as any human rights organisations in your country. Your country also has a National Human Rights Commission, which you can and should contact. If you wish to find them, you can do a google search for NHRC (your country's name). I have the link if you wish and you can PM me and I can send it to you if you wish to preserve your privacy and not tell the forum at large which country you are from.

Then I would suggest you contact the police immediately.

Again, contact your country's NHRC, the police and start applying to universities abroad and work abroad.

You need to contact a lawyer.

You can also look at sites like:

    http://www.asylumlaw.org/asylumseeker/

    http://www.unhcr.org/pages/49c3646c1d9.html

Your local Red Cross or Human Rights Watch may also be able to offer you some advice.

I would also suggest you contact the embassies and offices and request help. You will need to be clear to them about your plight, the dangers you currently face from your family and local community and if you feel the country itself my persecute you for your atheism, sex and anything else.

I'm suggesting dating internationally. It doesn't deserve a bigoted response.

You did not say "date" you said "marry" and than you said "leave". Marry and leave is indeed using someone, using their heart, and than spitting on it like it all was nothing and taking advantage of it.

I was just projecting the process to it's logical conclusion, it doesn't necessarily imply taking advantage of someone. My uncle's first two wives and now his third are all from foreign countries and were willing to leave to be with him.

and the east, the north, and god forbid the south.
the west in no way holds any records in this regard.

    edit:
as a matter of fact, when you mention "east" you are mentioning areas that are notorious human traffikers.
