Or anyone who knows much about asylum? Asylum is the last thing I would think of. I need to go out of the country but I'm searching for other reasons to leave, like work or study. I believe that I have the right to claim asylum in another country but I fear I would be rejected if I ran away from home.. I have been wondering if asylum countries would reject someone who just fears her/his people, not the government. You got what I'm trying to say? -.-" I love my country and I love our leader, although he is thought to be a dictator like the other Arab leaders (I guess I understand why he is a dictator lol it's not the right time for democracy) I'm just scared of my folks (I mean the people of my small town. They are ill-educated, ignorant and barbaric. I live in fear because of them I swear Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Some of them already know that I'm not a Muslim (how? that's a long story) and they know where I live. One day every one will know about it and I will be in real trouble. It's such a small town and everyone knows what is going on here. Whenever someone comes to my house and rings the bell my heart starts beating rapidly.. I'm considering buying some self defense weapons... I still cover my face and hair and pretend to be Muslim.. it is unbearable and unfair to me but I have to be patient.. Anyway my question is basically about the reasons to claim asylum... would they look into my case or reject me just because the government isn't the problem? I can't leave my country soon. I got some things to do first but when I see the signs of real danger or my family force me to marry someone, I will have to leave..
Sense you show yourself in such desperation , as to leave home , first question how well financially are you . You can be a permanent tourist for some reasonable time , or an other avenue is get a student visa .
my first thought would be amnesty international. the red cross might be able to give you some pointers. shelters for abused women might also help. all except amnesty require a certain amount of trust. that's really sad. we could have fixed that crap too, just like we did japan. edit: http://www.refugeecouncil.org.uk/how_can_we_help_you/i_am_seeking_asylum http://www.asylumexplained.asrc.org.au/ move to a coastal city where they load and unload ships. maybe you can figure out a way to leave that way. stay cool, don't allow your insides to betray the situation. wear the garb, do the "habits", and all the while keep your eyes open and your ears on the ground. play the role, and make them believe it man, that's so fucked up. edit2: make sure you know how to clear your search history from your machine. clear your cookies too. and the browser cache. all of these can be used to track your search history. First, I am not an attorney. Two, I would think you need to converse with an immigration attorney in a suitable country. Three, what financial resources are available to you? What kind of education do you have? All will be relevant when seeking immigration. You might want to seek out Read-Only, if I recall correctly he is an attorney though I don’t know his area of practice. Asylum is usually granted to political refugees and not people running away from their parents. Four, why does your state not protect you from your parents? The state normally is charged with providing a reasonable degree of protection to its citizenry. You might want to consider working in a foreign country as an au pair as an option. Below is a link explaining the Au pair program. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Au_pair Here is a reference that might be helpful if you are considering The United States. http://org.law.rutgers.edu/publications/law-religion/articles/Cleaverfinal.pdf You might also want it takes to be considered a refugee for various nations. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/us...toid=1f1c3e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD Be careful, I suggest you do whatever you need to do to keep yourself safe even if that means getting married. Do what everyone else does until you get an opportunity. Be smart. You can always have hope if you are alive and well. Good luck. I wish you the best.
Just don't jump from the frying pan into the fire. Many times women are told they can work in America or other democratic countries for people who need maids or AU as they are also named. By going to work for them you can end up worse off because they won't pay you because they tell you they are giving you a place to live and food so they don't have to pay you. That's one big problem today for those wanting to come over to America, they get into more problems than they can get out of. So just be certain whatever way you get out and over anywhere else that you won't be treated unfairly or even made into a prostitute which again many women have been FORCED into.
Oh hogwash Buddha, as usual you have no clue. It is always good advice for anyone to do their homework before making a major decision. Where is your evidence that women coming to America through the Au Pair program are forced into prostitution and not paid? Oh that is right, as usual, you don’t have any proof because none exists. You are just making stuff up again. If she should immigrate to the US or any other western country, she would be protected under the laws of that country. Slavery has been illegal in the US and other western countries for more than a century. Prostitution is also illegal in 49 of 50 US states. And once she is in a western country there are many women’s advocacy groups that she could use as well as her Au Pair advisor to assist her with any problems she may encounter. And many au pairs come from other western countries like Germany and other European countries. It is a good way to earn a little money and learn about a different culture and make some friends.
At the moment I don't have enough money but I'm saving I don't think my parents would want to hurt me. I worry about them more than I worry about my self. I used to write about Islam in my old blog and this is the thing what made my people hate me and stalk me. They hate me. I saw a comment in a local forum calling for torturing and executing me (just because of my writings on Islam) I don't expect much from my country. I mean I don't think they will protect me. even if I left my town and moved to the capital city, my people would find me And.. actually I don't want to go to America or Europe. I don't hate Muslims just because they are muslims but I can't imagine myself spending the rest of my life with them.. I'm sorry but I don't want to see Islam around me!! I've been to England and I've seen so many Muslims there.. I felt like I was home but Islam isn't my home any more
go to Russia, you will feel safe there and there are many jobs there. Also almost everyone here is either from USA, UK, and Australia. All are english speaking countries with very narrow minded views on social structure, freedom of religion also amounts to nothing as everyone forgets about religion for money.
I'm thinking of east asia, although it is very difficult to move to east asian countries (I think)... you can guess one of the reasons why i am learning Japanese...
What seams to me you folks are fairly Innocent on how to immigrate . One of the important thinks is to find a community or a church of your ethnic group for support
And where did I say she shouldn't or couldn't find a community to her liking? There are plenty of Mosques in the US and Europe, there is nothing stopping her from attending one should she manage to get into a western country. There are plenty of Arabs in the US, Canada and Europe too.
it takes a lot of guts to do that, to abolish the religion of country you are from. You are indeed in danger, try going to general consulate of Russian Federation and asking for visa. You will not regret it.
