This one has been coming up in the news recently: While a majority of women voted democrat, a majority of married women voted for republican, why? Fox news commentators were quick the make claims that married women care for their children future and have responsibilities and the single women only care about birth control and abortions (thus we can reason they are assuming all single women do not have children, are all sluts and whores) So what is the reason?
You should add among married women if they have daughters or sons . Back to the question .. The single women are liberal because they are promiscuous, and they like explore the environment with different morality . Married women they know the world so they like to protect their offspring from bad morality , specially women that have daughters
Maybe single women are more likely to end up on welfare, and the dems take care of poor single women/mothers. edit to clarify: you don't find single mothers among married women. And single mothers (not necessarily promiscous) often end up needing help if the father walks out and doesn't pay child support. I bet with the climb in the existence of single fatherhood, if they did the study looking at single parents verses married parents, they would find that hte prospect of being a single parent with no help from the absent parent will change ones perspective on social welfare programs. People do not tend to care about society as a whole. They tend to only care about how the rules will like affect them personally.
