I could not think of better place to put this so feel to move it.

I am in the market for a good camera so I thought I would reach out to this forum for some recommendations. I was thinking that the Cannon EOS 7D would be a good match and will also give you and idea of my price range. I want good 1080p video, image stabilization, great contrast, colors that pop, and all the options. Ease of use is nice but not as important. I await your posts.

I was thinking along the lines of things that may be cheaper but also just as good or very close to it.

If you want quality you can't get much better for the price. Cannon is one of the finest cameras made so buying it will always give you the best for your money over time. If you can afford it buy it.:itold:

Which of these comes with a better lense?

I am just a beginner looking to have a nice camera for the future, but I am not a professional and I am not planning on buying any lenses anytime soon so I would like to start off with the best one possible. Getting just a body with a seperate lens is not an option as it is too expensive. I would like image stabilization.

I take pictures as close as bugs and as far away as landscapes and everything inbetween so I am looking for a more general use/multipurpose lense. Would that one still be best?

My appologies, I believe that I was unclear. I only have enough money to get one of those two cameras and no extra lenses so which one of those two will give me the most versitility?
