I like Taoism the best. Maybe I even am a Taoist. Problem is that labels tend to attract unintended connotations. I have a problem with the notion of Heaven (as it is used most commonly). If Heaven is to mean an etherial (non-material) reality in which souls can live in bliss for all eternity, I see several problems. The main problem is the non-material aspect: to me, dualism is one of the biggest flaws in thinking about the world.
Nobody did. But to my best understanding, most theists would say Paradise (or something similar) if they are referring to a ideal material world. (I hit 1k messages, hoorayPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!)
Heaven is for all good life forms, material will belong. C'mon. You don't wanna hear me jam on my guitar?
Heaven is different. In several religions. Like I heard some say that you got to go through many "stages" an one has streets paved with gold. One have "gifts". Guess heaven, depends on your form of religion.
I must apologize: I was unaware of the discussion on possible interpretations of 'Heaven' going on in the Comparative Religion-secion right now.
I'm atheist, but if I had to pick a religion, I'd be Jewish. A nice god, rules I understand and can tolerate, women have a lot of say, and no hell
