    ok-
    1. I don't like wars
    2. Sometimes a war is needed in order to reach some important goal
    3. the goal in this war seems to be mainly oil and a big boy's need to play with big guns
    4. The curent war doesn't impact me so I don't give a shit about Iraq , its people or the USA
    5. I still don't like wars
    6. Nobody's gona listen to me anyway
    7. The war has already begun, no use burning candles and crying for world peace standing wet in rain
    8. so I say-> Beat the shit out of them as fast as possible with minimal civilian losses (either side) and let there be peace again

If you look at the actions the United States has taken in the past, it is visible that these quick excursions have serious repercussion. Note the Iraq-Iran Contra scandle. Even if the civilian loses are minimal, it is just setting up the pins to be knocked back over again. This is pretty much the same old same old. Unless something is done then nothing will ever change.

    Presentation

In the US, our news sources would have us believe this war will be done by this time next week. Yet the almost casual note at BBC: " ... indications that this war might be a long one."

dos hit and run shit count as war? yknow guerilla type shit? if it does, then maybe it will last a long time. the bombing should take care of the big guns and battalions. pretty soon. there wont be anything left to destroy except soft targets.

    Re: Presentation

Oh, I don't know. I cut the tube on last night before I retired and some reporter was quoting some general as saying this might be a drawn out affair, that it was too early to tell. Don't know if it was CNN or FOX.

You can really be funny if you try. I am impressed!
    Analogy:
If you see four gorillas beating the shit out of an old lady in an alley. You would think, “Oh it already got started”. Beat the shit out of her as fast as possible without breaking her clothes, …and don’t disturb my life in the process.

Precision attacks are just what were doing. We just beat down numerous parts of iraq so carefully that nothing (besides the military and governmental installations we were aiming at) even lost power.

Sure thing, we didn’t break a single egg. That’s what we have seen in the late show. I would prefer to wait for some good old independent reporting to come to that conclusion.
