All of David Attenborough's books are excellent, but most of them have a documentary series and watching tv is that much easier

David's programs are quite relaxing...if I am really tired I put on a DVD of the blue planet and let the sounds of the ocean and his voice coax me into sleep

    I know what you mean.
I think he's awesome ,he played a primary role in making people notice the world around them.

yeah I worshipped him as a kid too. Most of the books I have of his are old from when I was a kid and I used to cry untill my mother bought them for me.
If it wasn't for the "trials of life" series on tv when I was a kid I'd probably be a frat-boy sucking on a keg right now.... oh wait .. damn

i don't read any of those regularly, i've read skeptic a few times and it managed to hold my interest. National geographic has good stuff occassionaly i'm sure, but i've never taken an interest.

Anyone read any independent mags? "zines" as they are sometimes called.

I can't afford to buy a magazine every month. I just pick up on what i can i.e. radio, t.v etc.

On the Richard and Judy show (and English programme) I heard that apparently Blondes are dieing out. Genetically they are disappearing: something to do with blonde hair fading with age or something. Scientists have worked out that the last Blonde will be born in 2023 (or something like this).

I hardly ever read anything at all, because it is all so predictable and dull, or overly pretensious or just plain stupid. I very often get annoyed at the authors way of writing, the moral message in the book, or the illogial reasoning. I'm very picky that way.

I need to be boggled and if that doesn't happen I throw the book into the wall, like the spoiled piece of humanity that I represent.
I have recently discovered that I often show up a very spoiled behaviour and I feel very ashamed of that realisation.
I'm pretty sure I was a queen of some sort in many previous lives.

that's the definition of science nowadays so don't be alarmed by your erratic behavior...it is just that they haven't corrupted you yet...

Hey bebelina how come you type your posts like this? It makes me read them using a retard voice in my head, no offense, i'm sure you're not a retard, its just that large colourful letters make me use the 'retard voice' I have in my brain's dialect-bank. Oh well I guess I'll just have to deal with it, eat some crayons and bark at strangers.
