.............i have since not been back to this site because i find most of the threads redundant and pointless, inspiring nothing more than hate in the minds of immature "teenage internet junkies" and as an outlet for older "social rejects" who otherwise wouldn't be heard by anybody that matters. Now that i'm back i'm seeing one of the mods placing a thread on pointless messages which in itself is a pointless message because your not going to change a thing, this is a silly site, nothing if anything NEW is ever said, the people with huge message counts often just post recycled information from there favourite internet sites, or from several sites at the top of a search engine query, oh how difficult, why don't you just answer every question with a "Don't look for your answers here go to google, cos' that's what i do" message......

does anybody see what i'm saying?

that's quite true...i like to quote from my own site, because every answer you can possibly imagine is there. I will not miss any opportunity to plug my site...jesus visits my site twice a week and says 'wow' every time. Bush doesn't like it, but that is good advertisement i think.

 

You are right on all counts...however there is a real mixture of people ,some mature some very young, maybe we should have more threads for mature people.Any suggestions!

First off, why come here then? Secondly, you haven't been on every single day for the last 8 months and I can tell you that a hell of a lot of new things has happened.

I can quite simply give you a few examples of people with high post counts who either voice their opinion, state facts by themselves and whatever including myself, Pollux V, Xev, Avatar...the list goes on. (I'm not saying my posts are amazing tho)

I agree with what Neb...nezzaar says.
Yes, no one cares that I'm not coming here as often as I used to....yes I do have something like 700 posts here, but at least a quarter of them are of nothing of usefulness for someone wanting real information. My head hurts from trying to sort out the same stale arguments found in many potentially good threads, but maybe it's all because I'm a SciForums burnout.

I think this sums up his argument pretty well

An internet chat room, mixed in the same category as a "white power" forum, or a neo-nazi forum, or a Playstation game forum.

But like someone mentioned earlier, it's the Internet, what did you expect?
