firefox about:config

    firefox has a built in configuration utility.
    you can access this utility by typing about:config in the address bar of firefox.

    i've created this thread because i would like some input about the following entries:
    well there are too many to list but the entries that start with security.
    like why is one of my entries labeled "enable ssl2" is false?
    isn't ssl and ssl2 good security?

    about:config mods prefs.js which can be found in the profiles folder
    userchrome.css can also be used customize mozilla's gui's

    SSL 2.0 is a bygone in terms of security. you are good as long as TSL and SSL3 are true.

    Why rely on your browser for security? Are you afraid someone's going to hack through your modem's firewall (you are using a firewall at your modem, right)?
