that makes good sense and all, but if someone is a truly evil person, don't you think some of that will seep through? what you're talking about sounds more like mobster types who make a living off of illegal acts, but may not necessarily be evil. do you have experience in any criminal-based fields? I'd love to hear more.

and if what you say is true, that criminals are masterful at concealing their true nature, that makes them all the more creepy. I suppose with the nearly unfathomable complexity of the human brain, it isn't too surprising that many people turn out fucked up. it seems like a lot has to go right in development!

I don't think evil really exists. It's a moving label people assign to their tolerance of behaviors, actions, and events. Think about it this way, take away humans from the picture, can you point to objective evil? What's it made out of? How do you measure it?

You have heard that before have you not ? People get busted confessing crimes on the internet you know .
I have known my fare share of criminals, psychotics and general all around freaks of nature . You might be surprised which ones are evil and which ones are harmless child like people . But your account matches the casebook symptoms of the illness so precisely that I don't have to be an expert.

If someone says they've got a headache, they are sneezing, they are running a temperature, and they feel achy, then I don't have to be an expert to tell them they have a viral infection. And I'm no virologist either.

However as for the comment about budding psycologists, im not a budding psycologist, im a final year student paramedic and part of our corse is mental illness and mental health nursing, as well as general psycology.

If any pt of mine stated what has been said in this thread and i didnt get a psych review i would have my ass handed to me by the head of the ambulance service. If on placements i didnt pick up on this i would have my ass handed to me by my supervisors and lecturers. Inspite of orleanders comments that all i am is a volly I do know what im talking about (ive already compleated my mental health related subjects)

 

You are right about the virus thing.
A good doctor doesn't jump to conclusions.
They could miss something more serious.
One thing is certain though, the person with the sniffles is ill, and 95% of the time it would be the common cold.
