Well, there have been a couple of Black men I thought were attractive, but I think the gene pool really does have a lot to do with our attractive pursuits. We tend to be attracted to those in our own gene pool rather than other gene pools. This is not always the case, though. I see the attractiveness to other races and cultures as a rebelliousness to one's own gene pool. The bigger picture may be more about racial blending and, genetically speaking, who we're attracted to may change.

It usually starts with me (sometimes her) spontaneously coming up with something to do. We don't have regular dates (regular dinner dates hurts my pocketbook! my parent's ain't paying!), we go out often but it doesn't have a pattern (because I'm a busy person). The difference between a date or just hanging out I guess for us is how often we kiss and how many people are with us. Like...well recently ( past month ) we went to the tennis court (she doesn't know it is as cheap as hell for me because I have a membership with that club, hell yeah!) and my pool a lot. We have been to places people found fun as little kids (and two teenager's won't look too out of place going) just for laughs. Mostly, we don't even go places, we just walk around the city, going wherever we want. We sometimes take public transportation around the region or into Toronto. let me explain this one. this was more true for the previous generation but not so much for this one. i predict that after this generation's offspring become adults, this would pretty much not be true. the major reasons why asian females in the west have entered interracial relationships has to do with demographics (where asians are a miniscule minority) in comparison to other races such as african-americans or hispanics and also the cultural reasons where they have been bombarded with western images of what is considered attractive. as for asia, the above is not true for the most part and especially for the current generation. the females who tend to seek out foreign men tend to be a small minority which are usually more desperate and uneducated, not all but most. in asia, they are very status conscious and who you associate with is very important to them as far as knowing someone's family background, social standing and education level. also, the asian male is not going to face annhilation because of the reasons you mention. the problem insofar as china's is their one-child policy as well their previous emphasis on male offspring which caused a huge imbalance between the sexes where their are more males than females and now they are facing the consequences of that. as for the rest of asia, their birthrate is low just like most developed countries because both males/females focus a lot on career and it is expensive to raise children. most only have one or two kids at the most, three is even unusual these days. today, even in asia, the current generation of males help with housework and are more nurturing or gravitate toward values of equality between sexes. two of the reasons is women are demanding it more and also both tend to work outside the home and be breadwinners. the males also are more attractive than their predecessors and asia is becoming more wealthy so it is evening out so there is less focus on the west than before except for business and learning english for those reasons with youth interested in pop culture. of course, the former generation is less like this and are more traditional in their values rather than progressive.
Plenty to see in Toronto alright, even at the airport. Last time that I was waiting for a connecting flight, just the ethnicity, energy and wardrobe of my fellow travelers was enough to pass the time. There's more to life than sitting and eating, lol. Walking, tennis and swimming are all healthy pursuits, and as you mention, don't have to break the pocketbook.
