Ahh another night of no sleep caused by the wonders of bipolar disorder, oh how fun. My normal dose of medication (1.2 grams of marijuana) is not working to get my ass to sleep tonight. Any discussions for us later posters?
Since this is such a lovely song - VICAR IN A TUTU Lyrics The Smiths I was minding my business Lifting some lead off The roof of the Holy Name church It was worthwhile living a laughable life To set my eyes on the blistering sight Of a vicar in a tutu He's not strange He just wants to live his life this way A scanty bit of a thing With a decorative ring That wouldn't cover the head of a goose As Rose collects the money in a canister Who comes sliding down the banister ? The vicar in a tutu He's not strange He just wants to live his life this way The monkish monsignor With a head full of plaster Said : "My man, get your vile soul dry-cleaned" As Rose counts the money in the cannister As natural as Rain He dances again My god ! The vicar in a tutu Oh yeah Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Oh ... The vicar in a tutu Oh yeah Oh ... The next day in the pulpit With Freedom and Ease Combatting ignorance, dust, and disease As Rose counts the money in the cannister As natural as Rain He dances again and again and again In the fabric of a tutu Any man could get used to And I am the living sign And I'm a living sign I am a living sign I'm a living sign I am a living sign I'm a living sign Sign ... I am a living sign
Bipolar, untreated...tends to manifest less in pure mania or pure depression...and more of what's called a "mixed state" in bipolars and "agitated depression" in us major depressive people. I had this on Effexor. Jesus H Christ you do not want to go there. I thought JUST planning my suicide in detail was the worst I could get? This is WORSE!Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I think it's the most frakked-up I have ever felt. And I have sailed some seas of serious suckage. You probably have an objection to commercial pharma...but seriously, you'll almost certainly get worse over time without gub'mint drugs. May get worse anyway, but I think your chances are better.
Bipolar disorder often responds well to lithium supplement, but you have to stay on the program. When you choose to stop taking the lithium to get that great high, you go right back to dysfunctional. Persons with bipolar do very well in overall life satisfaction when they are able to adhere to a very regular - rigid - daily schedule. This brings security, serenity if you can stick with it, and thus a measure of or the opportunity for enlightenment. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
