    And here I'd thought it was good for nothing more than writing in the winter months.

    Products? Nitrogen and water, seemingly. Can't be so simple, of course.

    Turning the toilet into a generator..? People have used human waste as fertilizer throughout history; even now, sewage sludge is often employed that way.

    I suppose the body heat lost in urine could be captured by a sophisticated heat-exchange urinal, and used to supplement the central heating; still, the extra manufacturing process required to make such a device would probably offset the environmental benefit.
