Fucking Ay! You guys have those pathetic "loyalty" cards too? Goddamnit. I was sorta hoping that this disease of carrying a trillion little plastic pieces on my key chain was a passing fad in the USA. Right now, I have a CVS thingamajigger, Borders whosiewhatsit, Cuyahoga Public Library doodad, PetSmart hutchicallit, Panera kajigger and a GiantEagle schwoo spinning around on my key chain. Recently removed my Speedway, Blockbuster Video, Hollywood Video and Walgreens doohickies. Idiotic. God I miss Albertsons. No plastic loyalty nonsense cards. Just great service and low prices. I can't wait 'till biometrics kick in, or at least when we all get computer chips implanted to make this shit easier. ~String
Oh we've had 'em 'ere for years. I remember my old man collecting Green Shield Stamps from the petrol station many years ago. Books and books of these stamps, yes there were actual stamps. Shit i think he got a free miniature car for collection 500 stamps or something stupid like that. Loyalty? - Fuck that, is shop A selling it cheaper than shop B?, i'm off to shop A if it is...period! Fail on the part of the police: Theft, under the law in the UK, means that it was done with intent. If, as the woman claims, she was given the card in error and didn't realise it was someone else's then the intent wasn't there. Ergo, it wasn't theft.
