Okay that's probably got you looking through some sort of perverse curiousity, why would I create a title like that for a thread? Well it's actually because I've been over on the BBC website again and since their changes they've had this little box with "Most Popular" written aloft the top. In the most popular "shared" articles is: vaginal gel 'slashes HIV risks' Now it could be implied that the gossip mongers (who of which are mostly women) have been discussing this article because of it's nature in perhaps aiding and lessening concerns of consensual sexual acts and the potential of STD's. (ergo the title, women exchange the article about this new type of vaginal cream lowering HIV concerns... misleading huh?) The BBC used to be known for it's attempted P.C. presentation, which is likely going to be hampered if various people or bodies pick up various stories based upon the merit of perversion. There website could end up looking much like some of the "Free Thoughts" and "Cesspool" titles. What Article types or "Titles" do you think will likely end up on there in the future?
An interesting footnote is the number of times this threads been viewed and out of that number the number of responses. Perverts the lot of you Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Whats perverted about vaginal cream? You do realise most of them are used to treat infections? Or alleviate vaginal dryness in post menopausal women?
Oddly enough I read that earlier. The bbc site has been running a similar feature for a while but in a less obvious position. It always had 7 year old stories about how a mouse and snake are now friends or coffee being good for your sexlife. I try not to pay too much attention as the "snake bursts after eating aligator" story crops up every few months. I'd be interested if they ever did follow-ups to the stories.

Please do not misjudge the importance of perverts to the mankind. Who, do you think, has discovered you could milk a cow?
All the prep-work involved before getting in the sack seems like it would be a mood killer. I mean...roll on a condom, squirt in cream, ask a few preliminary safety questions. Also - anti AIDS creme kind of implies lack of trust and conveys that the person thinks being with you is risky.
In honesty, nothing is actually perverse about the cream and it's no laughing matter in regards to considerations of ultra-safe sex (No, not cybersex.) The initial post while being apparently "judgemental", was meant tongue in cheek, much like other threads found in the Free Thoughts section. I guess as a moderator, one of the many things that we have to equate from time to time is whether a post is genuinely being created because someone wants a discussion or to sell a product based upon the frequency of word usage and how it is found through search engines. So the nature of the comment really was about what sorts of words/topics would end up in their "Most popular" section and whether than list would be perverted by either people with set causes (i.e. Animal Rights activists) or perverse reasoning.
What do you mean, they exchange it. You mean after one woman has used it, she scoops it out and passes it on to the next?
I think thats Stryder's notion of perversity, as if the gel applicators were battery operated boyfriends in some kind of menage a trois. Though, exchanging vaginal fluids would appear to be detrimental to reducing the risk of STDs.
Actually I meant to leave a long list of unknown possibilities to see what sort of depraved posters might respond, however you already knew this didn't you?!? The title really had a lot of truncating: Women Exchange the news article about this new type of Vaginal Cream that lowers HIV concerns in regards to consensual sex. Would have it been as interesting?
So from the OP, what do you think will end up on the BBC's most popular? Sex stories, Anti-(insertsomethinghere) stories?
