If you have personal information I would like to hear it.
I think personal experience is more important than theory.
Unfortunately my English is poor and difficult to discuss in detail but if you have patience can have a discussion.

If you're a pragmatic and I understand well the meaning:
admit that from your point of view you're right and maybe I wrong.

If you think socialism is better than capitalism then I am ready to have an exchange of arguments.
(Here or on another thread already opened especially for socialism.)

Obviously, a Kibbutz is carrying socialized living arrangements to an extreme. A socialized housing development might still have separate apartments, with everyone living separate lives. Socialism also doesn't preclude capitalism, but it wouldn't be an entirely free market.

And how do you think you will convince the "rich people" donate property such as "cooperative"?With beautiful words or with governmental power?

Socialism is an economic and political theory based on public or common ownership and cooperative management of the means of production and allocation of resources.
In a socialist economic system, production is carried out by a public association of producers to directly produce use-values (instead of exchange-values), through coordinated planning of investment decisions, distribution of surplus, and the use of the means of production. Socialism is a set of social and economic arrangements based on a post-monetary system of calculation, such as labour time, energy units or calculation-in-kind.

The International Socialist Organization (ISO) is a revolutionary socialist organization in the United States that identifies with the politics of International Socialism, a form of Trotskyism, and the Marxist political tradition that American Trotskyist writer and activist Hal Draper called "socialism from below".
The ISO is a revolutionary organization that advocates the replacement of the global capitalist system with socialism, which it defines as a system where the working class owns and controls the wealth (use-value) created by their labor. It maintains that just as capitalism is a global system, so too must the struggle for socialism be international in scope. According to the ISO's definition of socialism, the former Soviet Union, Eastern Bloc, China, and Cuba are examples of state capitalism rather than socialism. While the ISO declares that it supports struggles for economic, political, and social reforms as a means to improve the immediate conditions of the working class and as a means to build the confidence of this class, it also maintains that capitalism's oppression cannot be eliminated until it is replaced by socialism.

Democratic Socialists believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically to meet the needs of all, not to merely make profits for a select few. Democratic Socialism is a philosophy based on empowerment, liberty, democracy, and feminism, where community well being and individual development are the metrics of success. We advocate for stronger public goods like universal healthcare and free higher education in addition to more democracy in the work place. Our method is one of empowering communities and engaging in the politics of the possible while being guided by our ideals.

That is not socialism can be social democracy.
I do not know who I speak with a socialist or a social democrat?

Social democracy is a political ideology of the centre-left on the classic political spectrum. Historically, social democracy was a form of evolutionary reformist socialism.[1] The Frankfurt Declaration of the Socialist International, attended by many social democratic parties from across the world, committed the adherents to the replacement of capitalism with socialism and committed adherents to oppose Bolshevik communism and Stalinism.[2] The social democratic conception of socialism is that of a set of political and ethical values, such as unconditional support for parliamentary democracy, rather than a specific form of social and economic organization. The chief goal of modern social democracy is to reform capitalism to align it with the ethical ideals of social democracy while maintaining the capitalist mode of production, rather than creating an alternative socialist economic system.

Isn't it just a spectrum? I believe in our present system of Democracy as an instrument of socialist reform. That being said, what Obama is doing is far from even baby steps towards our goal. He's a centrist corporate Democrat, not unlike Bill Clinton. Socialism has been used since Ronald Reagan to demonize any reform that doesn't favor corporate profits and power.

Democratic socialism is a description used by various socialist movements and organisations, to emphasise the democratic character of their political orientation. The term is sometimes used synonymously with 'social democracy', but many self-identified democratic socialists oppose contemporary social democracy because it is based on the capitalist mode of production.

Democratic socialism is difficult to define, and groups of scholars have radically different definitions for the term. Some definitions simply refer to all forms of socialism that follow an electoral, reformist or evolutionary path to socialism, rather than a revolutionary one.[2] Often, this definition is invoked to distinguish democratic socialism from communism, as in Donald Busky's Democratic Socialism: A Global Survey[3], Jim Tomlinson's Democratic Socialism and Economic Policy: The Attlee Years, 1945-1951, Norman Thomas Democratic Socialism: a new appraisal or Roy Hattersley's Choose Freedom: The Future of Democratic Socialism.

I am liberal. If you're social democratic,we have different options, but we can discuss. It is normal to be a balance between the "right" and "left".
    But I categorically reject socialism.

The 55% of poll respondents who said Obama is a socialist probably have no idea what a socialist is. They've just absorbed the FauxNews rhetoric.

They know exactly what it means! It's bad, and Obama is bad, therefore he's a socialist. And a sekret Muslin, and he wasn't born here, and, and - SOCIALIST!

I just heard that Arnold Schwarzenegger's approval rating is the lowest it's ever been - 26%. The same as Gray Davis' was when the recall election was held, and Arnold got the job. I thought the recall was stupid, and I thought Arnold was an insane choice. But I hoped he could do the job once he had it. I really don't think he has done that badly - it's an impossible job. Over and over the initiative process in California has demonstrated the dangers of direct democracy. Propositions have mandated spending, required a two thirds majority in the legislature for the budget, severely limited the ability to raise taxes, etc. California's budget had many structural problems because of all of this bad lawmaking by initiative, then came the severe recession. Though Billy T thinks otherwise, I'm hopeful that we have avoided a replay of 1929. But nonetheless, times are hard here in the golden state, and people want to blame someone. So Arnold serves as the scapegoat. I don't think anyone could navigate the labyrinthine maze that the governor's office has become here in California and please the majority of California's citizens during times such as these. But in his case, no one is calling him a socialist at least.

Well, as has been said, whether we know what it means or not: WE DON'T LIKE IT.

But did you read this poll question:
"The best way to improve our economy and create jobs is to invest more to put people to work, develop new industries, and help businesses grow in expanding, new areas."

    OR

"The best way to improve our economy and create jobs is to cut government spending and cut taxes so businesses can prosper and the private sector can start creating jobs."

    FIRST STATEMENT: 43

    SECOND STATEMENT: 50
That's seems to be a pretty direct rebuttal of the Democrat approach AND the question was written by James Carville's polling group!

You are absoutely correct! And they have Fox, Clear Channel Communications to blame for their ignorance. limbaugh (Clear Channel Communications) has been telling his audiences that not only does America have enemies beyond our boarders, the enemy is now with in and in the White House.

The rapcious insanity that is the right wing of the American political spectrum, is unceasingly being driving into American heads around the clock. So these numbers are not suprising. We also have a noted leader of the right wing movement, Congresswoman Bachman, calling for the immediate investigation of all "unAmericans" serving as elected officials.

The irony is that the real threat to liberty are those who are advocating that there is only one correct view of the world and that is the insane view of the Republican/conservative/Tea Party et al view of the world. And anyone who disagrees with them are socialists, marxists, etc.

More evidence of the effectiveness of right wing extremist brainwashing of the American public. Two thirds of the stimulus package were tax cuts, which was not a very effective way of introducing stimulus. But included because of Obama's want to appease Republicans. And in the end, they got zero Republican participation.

Socialists in America, many in the highest sectors of office and finance, have been pushing for socialist policies tirelessly for at least the last century. Socialist practices have: caused a deemphasis in the importance of non-national banks; fought against free market banking principles (arguing instead for a governing body to establish loan ratios and interest rates common to all banks); sought to shift the losses caused by the reckless policies of individual banks to the economy as a whole and thus punish taxpayers; favoured debt over thrift; removed motives and incentives for banks to be conservative and work within their means by failing to punish “loan up” practices; legalized the creation of money and concentration of reserves into a few hands through institutions such as the Federal Reserve, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Deposit Loan Corporation, and lead taxpayers to carry through inflation the burden of bailouts which arose primarily from failed banking policies.

The marginalization of American principle is not due to anger and fear; the anger and fear result from the marginalization of American principle and its significant repercussions, many caused by socialist policies which have no place in healthy banking.
