    Dear Children;

    You don't know everything. Please, for your own credibility, stop posting ignorant debates on this forum of which topics you have little or no substantial experience with or knowledge of. You're wasting everyones time.

    Furthermore, I advise you that when someone that is older and wiser comes along and gives you some kind advice and points you in the right direction, that you listen. They aren't saying you're wrong just to piss you off. They're saying you're wrong because you most likely are; because you have a misguided or misinformed perception of reality. No one on this forum is here to personally attack you. And argue as you will, age is a factor in knowledge so don't get your panties tangled up in your spurs if someone points out the obvious; that you're young(er) and again, have an incomplete understanding of one thing or another.

    Sure, there are some things that you young folk are able to teach us older folk. But before you attempt to, please ensure that you have a full understanding of what you are going to teach.

    "If you're not old enough to drive, don't critisize the driving of another." - My mom use to say that to me. And this applies here. Again, if you have no personal experience with one aspect of life be it politics, law, government, physics, cosmology, philosophy, religion or anything else under the sun, then its best to just sit back and learn from those that do (and ask questions when you have them).

    I'm sure we all welcome our younger members with arms open, but at the same time, we are ALL here to learn and discuss. So don't be afraid to learn as well.

    Eh, I don't really dislike Sandy all that much. Sure, we disagree on almost everything, but atleast she knows what she stands for.

    Being "awesome" does not need to be supported by knowledge. It can not be proven or disproved.

    I think this should have been directed at attitude rather than age, to be honest. That attitude isn't exclusive to young people. I've met plenty of older people who've already decided that since they're 40/50, they know best, and no matter how sound someone else's reasoning is, they're wrong because 'I'm older and I've been out in the world.' It's usually on a subject they are unfamiliar with. They think since they are knowledgeable in certain areas, that knowledge is somehow transferable, that since they have life experience they're also experts on whatever other subject you might be discussing.

    I agree with many of your points. However I don't like people using their age as an excuse to tell me I'm wrong. If I am wrong then come out and explain why, using facts and logic, not ad hominem.

    I am fine with : 'You are wrong because....' reason.

    I am not fine with 'You're 20, what do you know?'

    I disagree. If someone is driving at 90mph of course I can criticize them whether I myself drive or not...

    I agree Visceral Instinct,

    Look at the new member Railton2 17 years old, yet very polite and well written. and willing to learn and put his point across, and admits that he doesn't know much but is willing to learn.

    That type of member, to me, is a good thing to have.

    I was going to post something similiar to VI. There are some great members here (regardless of age), and some not so great members. Some of the older ones make about as much sense as offering crisps to a badger with a mouth full of seagulls.
