Most Married Women Prefer Sleep, Reading, Movies Over Sex

An iVillage survey of wives aged 18-49 shows that 62% of wives would rather sleep, read, or watch a movie than have sex.

Two thousand American wives between the ages of 18 and 49 were surveyed about their sex lives by iVillage. The most alarming finding was that 77 percent reported being "somewhat to extremely happy" with their sex life, but 63 percent of them would rather sleep, watch a movie or read than have sex. ​

This isn't that alarming. Women have differing sex drives from men. Most of them also fake orgasms because most men suck at sex. Especially aged men.

i would rather sleep too, but then i have had too much over the years and i am tired.

Lucky them, they can have sex if they want.

I wish I had that option.

Then again, if I had been married a while I might get bored of that person and see them as more akin to a close friend than a lover. I wouldn't know. My longest relationship was a little over a week. Balls. Well, lack of them in my life.

Most American women prefer something else to Sex...

re-edit the title, women of the rest of the world do not neet to be labeled and grouped in such a category.

 

No no no...I was complaining about being single!!

I wish I had my libido taken away...having a high libido sucks especially for a girl because girls are supposed to only want love, not sex. The one time I tried talking about it to some female friends they looked at me like I grew 2 heads...

 

cmon guys there's 37% that say "there's nothing i'd rather do", that's pretty good! I bet it's better than even 30 years ago.

That's a lot of good horny wives out there, pretty much 4 in 10 which is better than I thought, talking to married friends. Most of them belong to the once a month club.

The problem is most of those women are bored. They know hot romance seldom lasts more than a year. Some get married, have kids, get frumpy and no man wants them. Some stay single, get new men every year or so and have amazing, fun love lives. Most are somewhere in the middle. Most people get sloppy about romance after they are in monogmous/monotonous relationships.

Any woman (perhaps not the very old) can have sex with a man whenever they want. Maybe not good sex, or safe sex or advisable sex, but sex none the less.

Any 20 year old woman if she wants to, can get vast numbers of men to compete for her and jump through hoops for her for a chance to have sex with her, just not necessarily the men she would want to have sex with or spend time with.

That is good news.

 

Yeah that's my problem. Drunken fat morons are happy to molest me, and go so far as to take 'Touch me again and I'll stick this knife in your liver' as 'I want you, let's do it'.
But the guys I would actually like to have sex with? Nope. No good looking athletic young men for me.
