Homosexuality an Addiction, Says Candidate

I think some people could be addicted to sex hetero, homo, or in any other form. I have a girl-friend not a girlfriend, she is a psychologist and she told me sex could be an addition in any form, also she said some forms of addition (which include sex) are treatable and others are not. Depend of the person and his or her wiliness to change. She is treating a guy right now he is addicted to pornography, and he got reprimanded at work for watching porno sites in his computer, next time he get caught he is going to get fired. So if I have to put that bluntly I think Sex in any form could be an addition . But then you have to define addition. When I was in my Honey Moon I had sex up to 3-5 times a day but I was not addicted, soon as I came back to my normal life, I have it once a day or so. That's is not an addiction. I don't know if I was clear.

Anyway.

Homosexuality has been accepted in many cultures around the world for a long time, I believe. Maybe it's just the christian bible that says it is a sin, but you can't ignore the rest of the world, which, in many places considers homosexuality to be apart of the norm, or at least nothing to get your panties in a bunch over.

That generalization of the rest of the world accepting Homosexuality like an alternative life style, I think you needs to revisited that statement in the Muslim World is punishable by death, and they carry out the sentence. So America,with it's rich Christian background do no punish Homosexuality in any way. Christians teach us to love those in this alternative life stile, and to pray for them. Totally different what a Muslim country does to homosexuals. How about that?

Homophobia is an addiction. It gives he addict a kind of catharsis - strong emotional experience - and sense of outrage about something that is NOT causing them problems. In this way, like all addictions, it distracts the person from the real problems in their life - the ones that are actually making them feel bad and in need of some drug. Homophobes use this drug, much as the people who hated mixed marriages did (and still do) to avoid dealing with their real problems.

We should have detox centers for them where they engage in group conversations of the real problems in their lives, until they feel confident they can deal with these and thus lose the need for the drug of homophobia.

 

Chippendale dancers, Miss USA and world contests, the thriving heterosexual porn industry, plastic surgery on heteros such as boob implants, reality tv shows.....the list goes on and on.

Or is it the fact that it is a parade? Oh, their parades are sexual, so they have a problem?

 

Where did I say they have a problem having parades ? Can you answer that ?

None of the examples you give are the same as organized parades, not to mention the homosexual community has all of what you mentioned as well....

Thriving hetero porn - Thriving gay porn
Plastic surgery for straights - Plastic surgery for gays
Straight reality shows - Gay reality shows

Yearly sexually charged gay pride parades in many major cities - ummm no sexually charged straight pride parades anywhere .....:shrug:
