    Based on my estimates, Al Gore's ecological footprint is 87.82

    -Takes airplanes and limos to work;
    -Owns a mansion, all the modern appliances;
    -Meat or fish, locally grown produce;
    -Recycles diligently all of the time.

    Any objections?

    True, but no doubt he'll claim it's ok because his efforts are leading to reduced glob...

    Or 8.53 earths. I'd have scored higher, but I drive a pretty fuel efficient car because I don't like wasting money on gas. (My wife drives the giant SUV to cart around our 4 kids, 2 cats, and german shepherd). Also, I have efficient appliances and use CFL's because I don't like paying high electricity bills. When I put new windows in my house, I even paid extra for the low e super energy efficient glass. And my kids use rechargable batteries in most of their toys.

    But rest assured, none of this was from any concern about global warming, it's just about not wanting to waste money.

    I took the test from the op. Mine was 6.4 but like others have stated it is too vague. Obviously with no car, na AC, no heat and no t.v use my footprint is low. Just use the internet.

    I have never used AC since living on my own (over 10 years) and hardly ever need heat.

    Also, the one, and only time, i was on an airplane was about 15 years ago.

    Not that i am against those things and i am very strange person.

    I'm sure my food footprint should be a little lower than that, none of the options quite matches my eating style.

    I guess I'm doing relatively well. Although I must admit that I checked 'vegetarian' because I eat next to no meat.

    I'd do better if I quit using air travel.

    I scored a 130 and was considered BELOW average for my area - because I was in an Urban Desert and they assumed air conditioning. It made my carbon explode, I'm on a nuclear plant.
