Connect to your router and see how many clients it's got.

    Then enable some security.

Unsure of whether Firefox's uninstall removes the web cache. Clear out the cache by clicking "Tools" then "Clear Private Data". I suggest only the Cache and Cookies. You may be prompted by a few websites for info that they had stored before in those cookies.

Have you tried going to the control panel, and manually uninstalling flash, and reinstalling?

it would help if you told us exactly what happens when a flash video is supposed to be playing.

Dywy, this may sound strange but do this:
Go to firefox preferences and change the Download directory juts dont use default use the Desktop or My Documents.
EDIT!********forgot to say that AFTER you change the directory Redownload Adobe flash Installer and install it.

You used the same copy of WinXp?
    Its cracked or genuine?

Dywyddyr, I got the same problem some time ago, and tried many things, and it worked again! The thing is, I don't remember which way was working

    p).

    Please try any of these:

    - When you click a video and there is message javascript or flash is off or something like that, click the refresh button while holding down the control button.

    - If that doesn't work, and you're using firefox, go to Tools, Options, go to "Security", press Exceptions, then type http://www.youtube.com/ in the available box, then click "Allow".

    - If that doesn't work either, go here: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp10

then download the one with "activeX control content debugger". I think I downloaded the version 9, but now there is version 10.

Those steps are not necessarily in order, but after one of those steps, my youtube works again. If none of the steps working, there is other step missing (which I can't remember now, doh

    I have a Youtube downloader.
But why would I want to download a video before I know what's in it?
