Only if you defend it. My taxes are also used by my government to do a lot of shitty stuff I disagree with. I figure if I am forced to pay for killing Maoists, the least I can do is tell them what I think of it. So if its not your fault and you don't even pay for it, I suggest you refrain from defending these acts at least.

Think carefully about what it means when they say "Taliban stronghold".

People use words to justify deeds and if you step away from their soapbox its easier to identify how they manipulate your mind. So think, whats the equivalent of the Taliban in your country? Whats their "stronghold"?
