spookz, I thought you're an intelligent and polite man who called me sweetness before. So now you know how my roots look??? I thought only the husband supposed to see the roots. Now I'm worried that you know how my roots looked. What roots are you talking about please, I hope it's not the same thing I'm thinking, or I'll be so embarassed.

Anyways, if you have any molds out their for how a muslim or middle eastern woman supposed to be, go ahead and throw it out of the window, people are not molds.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, lack of choice of words on my part, and definetly lack of choice of words on your part when you used terrorism and reason in the same sentence.

Politics my friends have no country origin ethnicity color or religion. It's the furtherst from freedom. Politics is politics and it's dirty. Politics will never be a humanitarian business, because it doesn't operate out of vaccuum, it's more of a complicated actions and responces to a surrounding environment same like we are doing right now writing back and forth to each other.

One thing I like about the US is that the founding fathers had the intelligence to separate politics and religion. They recogniized the purity of religion and dirtiness of politics and knew that these two things should never mix. Unfortunately, our arabic leaders and heads of terrorism association like Bin Laden are holding all the muslims hostage because they're using the events, religion, to press poor souls who are really very nice people to support them. Because arabs and muslims are very faithfull to anyone who says he's muslim, even if happened to be Satin. Arabs are under the influence of religion, and to free themselves from the west as you complain about, they must be better than the west in all games even politics. They'll never do that unless they separate religion from politics completely.

So I won't say when pigs fly, worse, when the Saudi government separate religion and politics, and leave religion to the private individuals to stay as a gem to grow without exterior influences, you might see the arabs as the next super power.

OK lets try this out bush and blair want to disarm all the countrys who have nukes ok fine but does that mean that america and england will disarm as well? and churchill did not see england through its darkest years it was the soldiers who did that he was a pen pushing leader, just like the ones we have now.

Of course America and England will not disarm right away. At least not right now. If one had a goal to disarm the whole world and they're acting as the mediator and superpower, won't you expect them to disarm everyone first, then disarm themselves last?? It's a matter of trust, and noone could be trusted, maybe England....at least US have decided to trust England...Don't ask me why??? There are always opportunists who will ruin the plan.

Leaders by nature are pen pushers and bunkers hideouts. With the exception of few like Ghandy and few others who tried various methods of involving themselves to motivate others. Being a handson leader is an impossible scenario.

so why should the americans not trust britain? if anything it should be the british that should not trust america, america has to trust the british as we are the only friends that they have, even though the yanks take the credit for things that some one else has done. plus 99% of the british people can be trusted.

You are absolutely right my friend. If I'm to choose a partener to trust in, I must make sure that my partener will serve my agenda and not his agenda, of course, I know I must pay in exchange for the services. The price must be right, or no deal. US knows that Britain have no current political agendas or ambitious. Britain don't mind doing US a favor in exchange for security, afterall they're tired of being superpowers for many centuries. It's a perfect simbiotic (spell???) relatioship.

There are three types of terrorists:

    - those that claim to fight for humanitarian rights (ie. Zapatistas)

    - religious nutters (BIn Laden)

    - thrillseekers (Carlos)

In the case of the Zapatistas I can ACTUALLY understand their motives and we should question the actions of the (usually right-wing) exploiting government in such countries.

As for the religous nutters and the thrillseekers: Give them a one way ticket to paradise.

To be labeled as a terrorist, one must show a repetitious trend of acting like a terrorist. Passionate crimes should not be regarded as terrorism, for they happened because passion took over reason.

Premeditation including training, becoming a member of an organization, being paid for the act, ect are all also reasons for labeling a person a terrorist.

Let's be carefull of using the word terrorists, or the rrrs will start sounding funny like the way Bush sounds when he say the word.

we have to hunt them quietly which has been done in ireland, we have some of the best soldiers in the world, ie, the SAS we need to use them properly, not all at once some of the intelegence that is known about the terriorists can be used against them, it would take a while but the result would be the same in fact it may even be better, it has benn done as i have helped in such a operation,

Hello everyone! Been away for a few. OKay, now back to business. First, heflores, maybe we did use the wrong words in making out points. I just happen to be of the mind that their is always a reason for everything. I refuse to believe that humans for the most part become terrorist for no reason. I feel their is always an underlying motive to get people to act in such a barbaric way.

Second, SisterGirl, you never fail to amaze me with your "media account" of the world. My understanding of the gassing of "suddams" people is as follows": First, the Kurds are not suddams people. Second, some type of civil disorder was taking place at the time of the gassing {I in no way advacate the gassing of anyone for any reason}. Third, while the gassing of the Kurds were going on, the United States knew about it from day one. So instead of saying "Bad Suddam", we gave him more gas and watched him use it on the Kurds. For some reason, this didn't pose a problem with US leaders at the time but when Iraq invaded Kuwait - and there is some speculation that Iraq was under the idea that they had full US backing in invading Kuwait - the gassing became a problem. Now almost 20 years later, this gassing incident is brought back to light like it happened last year.

    Just my take on things.

Firstly, Sadam doesn't have the capabilities to fire any sort of device futhere than the borders of the arabic world. Admitadly this has been far anough in the past, far anough to reach Israel that is, there are other ways of delivering warheads aswell. For this reason, the one thing i cant stand is people saying this is going to turn into some kind of world war three!! Also i think the one thing we are forgetting here is that Sadam is a creation of the western world, it was only 15 years ago that america, britain, france and germany were selling iraq weapons and arming sadam against iran! the US did the same with pinoche during the chillian elections and it has happened before in thew past aswell. People say that if the more developed countries didnt have a nuclear weapons program poorer countries wouldnt have these weapons available to them, but personally i'd rather that the more developed countries did dominate that field, rather than the technology falling entirely into the hands of countries with a more primitive political system!! there are a lot of people against the war aswell but with all government descisions there is always a large ammount of people who appose the counclusion but it is extremely rare that you'll here another option or some kind of practicle alternative!! Also people say it is not righ for us to jepordise civillian lives, however, not that i support the theory that it is ok to preserve one life in justification for another, but it is interesting to note that
in the last half century western powers have saved at least twice as many lives through vaccinations as have been lost!! Personally i don't have a particular opinion as to wether the upcoming war is right or wrong, but it is true that sadam gassed and tortures his citizens and there is no opposing party, no-one else to vote for unless we do something there is no chance, no way out for the innoccent lives being lost! i just fealt like pointing out some things. thnx

Cemented ofcouse by the fact that the second most costly terror attack in the world - the 1993 truck bomb detonated in london costing around a billion in damage to the union jack - was in fact carried out by a group that was largely financed by the US ...

Just a sample of what is unaccounted for in Iraq:

    26,000 litres of anthrax

    1.5 tonnes VX nerve agent

    12 scud missiles

I dont condone war or the killing of innocent people in any way but this is ridiculous he has to be whupped!

    Welcome to SciForums, wolrabp...
What will your suggestion be when he splashes that all over invading ground troops and civilians during an urban assault? This is exactly why the weapons inspectors should be allowed to continue their work, as they have asked.

    :m: Peace.

    history lessons

Intrestingly ... if we do start playing with the time machine lets go back 43 years , when the US germ development program at Fort Detrick had exposed prisoners at Ohio State Penitentiary with experimental germ cocktails ...

also US themsleves scientist were accidentially exposed 456 times ..two men fell to anthrax, one bolivian hemorrhagic fever

or when the US officials granted japs shiro ishii and his associates immunity from prosecution in excahnge for records of japans germ programand their help in deciphering them ... knowing well that ishii's unit 731 had conducted gruesome tests on Chinese and American prisoners ...

where does the accountability end !!!

And this is happening, is it not? The presence of forces in the area and the threat of military action is the only reason why this is possible.
