I have the power to control time!

but it comes with a price..

i am not immune to that power..
if i speed time up..i speed up with it..
if i slow time down, i slow with it..

the only thing i cant do is completely stop time...

I would love to freeze time - assuming I could overcome the problems of perpetual jet lag. Maybe after doing it for long enough, I wouldn't physiologically need any sort of circadian references.

Time freeze would allow me to cheat in numerous activities. Academic tests would be a breeze.

I think there would be other limitations to it. For example, the more the person used this ability, the faster they would age relative to everyone else. There may be limitations with the objects the individual interacts with. You would not be able to freeze time and use a computer (for example).

  9. but what if you unfroze the computer and froze the aging process on yourself.

the bad part is that you would be aging during the frozen time.

It would be great if you could keep stacking on new powers to solve all the problems. However, if it's limited purely to the OP's question of "freezing time", then none of that stuff applies - only one hypothetical allowance is being used to modify reality.

I'm thinking freezing time would be kinda like stopping "change" in the universe while your own continuum of change moves onward (allowing you to move freely within frozen time). At best, maybe your own personal continuum is more of a bubble, and anything in this bubble is not frozen either. I guess you could carry a laptop with you.....but would not be able to plug it in anywhere, or access the internet.

I've seen that comedy, but all the particulars behind the remote weren't based on any sort of quazi-realism or anything. They were there to help the angel character teach the scrooge character a moral lesson.
