My mother passed away this morning at 8:00AM CST from Liver Disease at the age of 49.

The loss is incredibly hard to deal with. Luckily I have my father here and together we are getting through it one second at a time.

I love you, Mom. Always and forever.

No. My flight landed at about 10:30. My father told me the news when he greeted me at the airport. I spent about an hour or two with her before the funeral home took her.

But that was what she wanted. She didn't want me to be here at the moment of her passing, even though I wanted to be there. She's always had a way of getting what she wanted.

This is probably not appropriate and you can tell me to go to hell, ok?

Your mom drank a lot and died young of cirrhosis. Did she apologize before she died?

that would make me feel better. I wish my Dad had before he died. Crappy of me to think "lucky you" at a time when its so sad.

Yeah, I haven't had much experience with death, so I never know how to act or what to say.

Plus, you know, It's an internet forum, and it's not like it really means anything.

But, for what it's worth, We humans have a need to empathize.
Good luck, Mz. I wish you didn't have to suffer this, and you'd probably ask why?, a million times. Time will tell how you fare.

    Moms should never die.
I can't even think about my mom dying. It's making me cry just to marginally consider the situation.

I'm sorry that this had to happen to you, specially now while you're going through so much with your mortgage and all.

Maybe you just have to go through all the shit fucking times now, and then everything will get better.

I'm having a beer for you.

M*W: Sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother. Each day will hurt a little less. I say that seven years after I lost my own mother. We never want to see our loved ones suffer. Hang in there. time heals all wounds.

    Regards,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish I could say it will get better, but it will be three years since I lost my mother and it doesn't really feel better. Varda is right, mums should never die.

Stay strong and be with friends. It helps me to talk about her with people who knew her and to remember all the good times. She was 64 and it was too young, I cannot imagine how you feel.
