    Physically, maybe. likely.

    But not in other ways.

    You and I would not be conversing essentially.

    In the past, we were more limited in who we could interract with.

    This technology has allowed us more access to information in far shorter times than in the past, and it will continue to get faster. Even getting past dial-up was a big step.

    So all of this interconnection will actually help us expand our knowledge base.

    But I agree, we don't go out and play in the streets and learn to deal with humans on a social level like we had when I was a kid.

    This is why I make it a point to try to have my kids stay involved in some kind of person to person interractions with other kids.
