I've read four of his books. Story if civilization is a twelve-volume set of books basically starting from the early Eastern and Western civilizations to what we have now (or what we had ~1950). It'll take years to read them so I'm wondering if anyone else has read them. I'd like this to be my one-stop shopping for history (Quinn can cover the stuff >3000 yrs ago).
