I take that back. Apparently the celebrations they showed on telly were in support for the children who were acting in the film.

I watched this on Friday night. I thought it was ok, better then I was expecting.
However I also have seen 2 other movies it was up against at the Oscars.
    So far I have seen,

    Benjamin Button
    Milk

Frost/ Nixon ( Have it, but haven't watched it yet)
The Reader (Don't have that one yet)

We watched Milk yesterday and Sean Penn was AMAZING in it. He is a great actor I always liked him. I can see why he won Male Actor in a leading role. I thought that movie was better then Slumdog.

I know I've discussed the movie, but until last night, I hadn't seen it. Honestly one of the best movies I've ever seen. Unbelievable.

    That's just me.

I watched it about a month ago, it is indeed one of the best movies I've ever seen, too. I also like the theme song, very energic!

It was slow and boring at times. But it was compelling and they did a good job with the ending.

Excellent movie. I enjoyed every second. The acting was great, the scenery beautiful and the story very easy to get sucked into.

I saw it after it won the oscar and for the first time in a long time, I wasn't horribly disappointed by the oscars.

I loved it! The characters were absolutely endearing and the script was tight. I was transported from the moment the film began.

I like it.. But particularly the part when they were still young kids.
