I've watched a few episodes of New Tricks and thought it to be very well written and well enacted. Anyone know where I can watch the episodes online? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Tricks_(TV_series)
Are you turning into my mother? I get a complete run-down on what happened in the last episode every time I see her Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! She's addicted to the re-runs.
Never go out of my way to watch it, but I have enjoyed it. You put the final bracket outside the tags by the way.
Pfft. Actually the couple of episodes I did catch before giving up on TV were worth watching. All reliable actors and it was good to see them "still going" as it were. Most of them had made their names while quite a bit younger (James Bolam particularly so) and it was nice to see they still had careers. (Plus decent scripts!).
We don't get it here but now that you mentioned it I went and found out about it. New Tricks is a BBC television drama series which follows the work of the Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad (UCOS). Led by Detective Superintendent Sandra Pullman, it is made up of retired police officers who have been recruited to reinvestigate unsolved crimes. Following the success of Series 5, the BBC has recommissioned New Tricks for a sixth 8 part series to be broadcast in 2009. WIKI
cosmic: I saw it on PBS. You should be able to get it too. Its in the classic detective series type. Reminds me of Der Alte, except that its British rather than German http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCL4Of1bWqg
