I thought so too, until I found out the only woodworking Sam is able to do is sanding a chair with her ass.

That is awesome, Shorty. Please feel free to ask any questions. I primarily build telescopes and cases these days, but will also build the odd piece of high end furniture for friends and family, and anything else that tweaks my interest.

Hey! I have a pair just like that in red. They are durable and comfy. Can I ask how much they were?

Shorty, those are nice gifts. i always wanted one of those thing that cut the grooves in to make joints. i think you do that with a regular table saw. and a router too.

how about a bnd saw? the only one i have is a drill and a hammer, some screwdrivers.

Have some fun, one of my favorite targets is, one gallon plastic milk jugs, fill them with water, and dyes of different colors and then watch the rainbows.

Maybe do some varmint hunting, the coyotes have been getting bad for the last couple of years, they pay a bounty on them so it would make some extra money.

    Then buy a new weapon.

    Also JIC.

Sounds like a red neck activity...

My kids (both boys) act like red necks when they go up north to the cottage. They have BB guns, sling shots and a real nice Bow and Arrow. Whey they aren't racing around on dirt bikes or quads they are out fishing or chasing around the wildlife up there.

I start some projects but i dont finish them.

i am pretty handy, i worked on cranes and stuff like that but i have not done much with household stuff.

did you ever weld or use a torch? it is a lot of fun. just recently i have experimted with soldering.

not sure what you would use a torch for but welding is very cool. see how long it takes you to get a good bead and cover your skin so you dont get a 'sunburn'.

never seen that show. i will check for it on youtube.

The last time I welded something was back in school when we had shop. I made a metal plant stand and candle holders. As far as soldering I have only done that once with a plumbing problem a while back.

So you have a lot of unfinished projects in your house? tsk tsk

I guess you could find it on YouTube. The show is pretty funny these ppl are really hopeless when it comes to home renovations or even hanging a simple mirror or something. I told Nietzschefan he would be a good contestant.

What Xmas brought for me: a water resistant watch that isn't, a couple of books (a cracker on the global honey industry, just finished it), a few dollars already spent, and marital dramas. Nett result: a lonely New Year without knowing its midnight, no book to read and didn't get to buy a new CD

    Happy fucking new year

I spend many evenings at my friend's place in a recliner with my boots off.
