Those sound higher-brow than a lot of threads here.

Oh don't be thick - an anonymous forum would mean each point would be taken on its own merit. Personal attacks would become impossible.

someone suggested an anonymous forum, i gave my opinion about where it should go.

another thing about this is everyone will be trying to figure out who the poster is instead of focusing on the subject.

I'm sure most people saying aye to the subforum permission granting would be considering it to work out in professional ways.

Yeah right. It just gives them a platform to use naughty words (like cunt) and belittle the mods without getting banned. As if you needed another place to do this.

I don't do anything like this.
Anyway, as suggested their names would not be anon to the mods.

How admirable. I wish the rest of sci would follow your example.

Could you imagine the amount of shit Plazma would catch for banning someone who said something banworthy in the anonymous forum?

I'd hope the members would be aware of that to begin with.

It seems /d like a Good idea.

    I think it's a fantastic idea.

Anonymity: traveling lite, a clean slate, luxuriously egoless. Streamlined ego.

Untethered ego, undemanding ego, commingling with the shadows, commingling with the open skies.

Soaring above the seas like a nameless bird of prey, distant and forbidden.

Distant perspectives, fresh perspectives, inventive perspectives, invigoratingly original.

    Invigoratingly alone.

An intelligent responsibility to proceed authentically without plastic luggage.

No price. No curtain. No applause.

This forum ain't ready for it.

I honestly have no real idea of what it'd be like, but it seemed interesting at first.

    That sounds really quite interesting.
Although in my very short experience of this forum, people have no problem putting their name to their views.

Sort of a pantheon of janitors...?

Or would custodians sound more Olympian ?

    You mean a "Sub-Cesspool"...?

Sort of like the leech bed of a septic system ?

I see we now have a dead tie: 12-12. I invite the intelligent members of this forum to vote in the affirmative.

Nah. What's the point? It's the internet, so if you want to remain "anonymous" then just don't tell the truth about who you are to begin with.

So far, only 46.43% of poll respondents are intelligent.
