    Cryptomnesia (?!)

It's called cryptomnesia, if I recall correctly. It happens a lot. People think they're writing a new song, and they're just recycling something they've heard but don't actively remember. Every intellectual property lawyer knows the word.

I don't think Satriani can win, but if nothing else, it only reiterates the point that Coldplay is shite.

Utter shite, its like a cross between camp rock and the sound chris martin makes removing his head from his own ass, i hope satriani wins..

the songs certainly sound similar, but I do not think Coldplay meant to copy Satriani.

Anyways, I like Viva la Vida better than If I Could Fly.
