actually Vincent, it is your own government who assassinated its own citizens with radioactive cr**, leaving a perfect trace to blame Russian security forces for it.

UK are international terrorists if you were not so brainwashed by UK propaganda you would know that.

In my entire lifetime, of reading about the horrors of this world, from hitler to africa's nightmare, to serial killers, i have never read about so many fucking loonies who take great delight in hurting women, from either stoning them to acid throwing contests, what makes them the most sinister in my lifetime & the worlds is that there all so brainwashed & all potential suicide bombers.

Male chavinism is something i fucking detest, & my own opinion is to drop thousands of cluster bombs all over the border between afghan & paki land, then mine the border, install some american television preacher as there leader, then play non stop american avengelists on afghan tv until there all unbrainwashed.

So they were paid to do this by the Teliban, interesting that the Teliban wouldn't go out and maime children themselves for they are very good at killing children. What a religious organization/drug cartel.

there is a reason to why you never read about the carnations of media monstrocities that they are painted as. That reason is because the media is bull****ing you, and they are not the monsters they are painted as. But hey you want to believe the lies, go ahead...listen to BBC (British Bull***t cr**) media

You're just making this up. 'Often', please provide a statistic, if you can't please keep your mouth closed. And as I said before it has nothing to do with religion, there is nothing within Islamic teachings that allows such an act. If you can find proof though, please do provide it.

There are plenty of 'bad guys' in that area, to blame the Taliban for everything that goes wrong is just lunacy. You have smugglers, criminals, drug-dealers, American forces, just like in every other place in the World. If the Taliban leadership wanted every girl in Afghanistan to have acid splashed in her face then I believe more than 'several' girls would have suffered. I find it hard to believe.

The true Mujahideen only fight those that fight against them. No real man could do such a thing to a woman.

The Taliban leadership are definitely more truthful than the US military, that much is for certain. There is deceit in war but you should know by now if a Muslim is opposed to something, he will state it openly. It is in the nature of all Muslims, Islam pushes Muslims to stand up for themselves and to never accept oppression or any unjust pressure. Muslims don't hide their intentions. If they want to kick your troops out their country, they will look you in the eyes and tell you, if they want to liberate Palestine and push the Jews into the sea, they will tell you etc.

Even with radical Islamic movements, everyone knows where they stand. There are no hidden agendas, what you see is what you get. Best examples being Osama Bin Laden and Zarqawi.

Regarding the rise of the Taliban, one of the first acts of Mullah Mohammad Omar was to rescue two girls that had been kidnapped by some commanders. He got 30 guys together (16 rifles between them), they attacked the base of the commanders and freed the girls - while capturing plenty of arms and ammo.

Help for Pakistan's acid attack victims
    By Sahar Ali
    In Islamabad

A chain of beauty salons in Pakistan is gearing up to cater for a new kind of client - burn victims whose beauty treatments will be more than skin deep.

An Italian charity, Smile Again, is teaming up with Depilex beauty salons from September to provide reconstructive plastic surgery for the victims of acid and kerosene attacks.

Reporting of such attacks on women is on the increase in Pakistan.

The charity already works in Bangladesh and India where this form of violence against women is common.

    Feudal society

"Beauty isn't only about cosmetics and nose-jobs," says Tehmina Durrani, author of the 1994 Pakistani bestseller My Feudal Lord.

Acid attacks: What can be done?
Ms Durrani's book detailed her abusive marriage to Mustafa Khar, once Pakistan's most powerful feudal landlord from Punjab province.

She was his sixth wife and wrote the book after divorcing him in 1988.

Her courage in speaking out about her marriage brought another victim of feudal society to Tehmina Durrani's doorstep.

This one hadn't been so lucky.

Fakhra was married to Mustafa Khar's eldest son, Bilal.

She left her husband after years of abuse but paid the price for walking out on her "feudal lord".

She had acid poured on her face - and says Bilal did it. He is currently on bail awaiting trial.

    Increased reporting

Although acid burn cases account for only a fraction of overall cases of violence against Pakistani women, reports of them are alarmingly on the rise.

There were 46 cases reported in Punjab province alone in 2002, up from nine the previous year.

    ************

One province 46 cases of acid attacks on women, for all of pakistan i dont know but would imagine that would be hundreds buddy, as that was in 2002 since then pakistan is about 50 times more militant, so one would guess hundreds or thousands today, proof? i dont bullshit never have, always happy tp provide links good buddy.

Thats 2 seconds off google i am sure someone could do better.

The Taliban ARE fucked up. It's common knowledge. Did you forget about them blowing up those giant Buddha statues? Will you acknowledge that, or will you just shift the blame to the UN or the U.S. as well, Sam?

Perhaps to them, they were just rock formations, value is subjective and dependent on awareness and education. Look at the US troops running their heavy machinery over the oldest city in the world.

Note, however, the Taliban coexisted with the statues for 1400 years, until they felt their ideology and security under threat.

Its collateral damages of the society Baron. If you want to change the society, its not gonna be done by arming the extremists. There is a reason they are called extremists/
