I think men and women are hopeless, in this regard. Not all of each, mind you. It's not a gender thing, it's a personal thing. I spent a recent evening with friends who were all to meet up at a local eatery. I drove to the home of one friend and his wife, to pick them up, and when I mentioned to Jon that they were going to be late, he said, "Juliette (the friend) won't be there on time, so it doesn't matter." Not surprisingly, he was right. We got there at 8:00, she got there at 9:00, just as we were finishing our meals.The set time for arrival was 7:00. As for me; I don't like waiting for people, so I do my best to not make them wait for me. It's always my friends who make me or my other friends wait. Lee

Cause men, for a very long time, were the only people who got shit done. Girls would leave their pregnant men if they could, but they can't. Oh fuck, didn't think of that.. Which gender is it, that often pays child support most of the time? Which gender is it that pays child support like 20% of the time? To your second paragraph, you have absolutely no proof whatsoever, so that's kinda a hole in your argument. Secondly, who said having your priorities "straight" means you're reliable? Girls do cry when they break nails, and I know wayyy more "girly girls" than I know jocks, although none of that matters at all(the girl-breaking-her-nails-but-guys-like-soccer thing). Men are just as reliable as women are, most of the time, it's obviously the person. Although, you can't deny the fact that girls take for fucking ever to get dressed and are always the ones to make you late because it's "fashionable."
Men were the only people who got shit done? I strongly disagree with you there . How many women out there not only work outside the home, but then get home to start a whole other job. Most women's day starts early in the morning until the kids go to bed. Who usually feeds the family and gets dinner on the table? Who usually gets all the laundry done? Who usually cleans the house? Who usually does the grocery shopping? Who usually helps the kids with homework or getting school projects organized? When the children are little, who usually gets them in the bath? Who usually makes the kids lunches and even the husbands and gets them off? I could go on! Some women cry when they break a nail but you are referring to the prissy princesses out there. I would never make a big deal about such things. Just because it takes a woman longer to get ready doesn't mean she has to be late. If I know what time to be somewhere, I know when to start getting ready to be on time.
I think it all goes down to "the grass is always greener" syndrome. Men, going to do whatever they do, think that their partner must have it easier than them. Women, going to do whatever they do, also think their partner must have it easier than them. There are cases of one or the other behaving poorly, but in general, this is the way it works.

wish I knew those men. My husband was always late for everything. Our first date, he was on time. But every date after that he got later and later. I tried explaining to him that it was rude. Finally one night he was an hr late. I waited for him at the door in my slinkiest sexiest red dress. When he came up on the porch, I opened the door. I then walked to my car saying I made other plans. He was never that rude like that to me again. I do have to admit, its a family thing for him. I have an observation that I've made of men. Well more like young men (boys to some depending on how old you are), but I've noticed that they tend to make poor judgment calls when it comes to obviously risky behavior. Stuff that I rarely see women or girls my age doing. Such as thinking it's a good idea to jump over stuff instead of walking around or climbing on people's roofs. Beating each other with sticks and belts (for fun :bugeyePlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!, trying to beat a train across railroad tracks. I'm a pretty active person myself and I do enjoy climbing and jumping, but while watching a lot of guys do things like this the first question that comes to mind is... Why? I mean most of that stuff seems like a bad idea from the start, so why do it? The chances of you getting hurt are very high, sometimes inevitable. So again I ask why?
