What's wrong with women? Not enough to go around, if you asked me. Should be a 9 to 1 ratio at least. Female to male.
Oh. But my shorts should compensate for the lack of skin being shown on my stomach. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Besides short shorts and a short shirt (tacky). Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Agreed, yet I've seen it done quite well, with the boxers that V down in front. Perhaps your wardrobe is a bit outdated already.
BTW -- 2 cents about this discussion: First off (I don't know if anyone already covered this), I think associating the way women dress with rape, pedophilia, or other forms of "criminal" activity clouds the issue of whether or not the clothing qualifies as a confusing sexual miscue. They are being presented as the guaranteed and threatening consequence from provocative clothing......which they're not. Further clouding the issue is the removal of clothing's sexual context within the discussion itself. In a sense, I get the feeling that people are saying that it's an error on the viewers behalf ---- however, some women do in fact dress in the same provocative ways to lure people, so there's no real way for the viewer to differentiate without being a mind reader. Last, there's others trying to demonize it by packaging it along with "popular moron archetypes" (ex - valley girls, airheads, things participants in the discussion are certain to hate). These character attacks don't really explain anything.
Of course it is fashion is like technology. As soon as its off the shelf its old news. I guess it might look okay with high waisted shorts, but I hate things with a high waist so I can only envision tackiness. I was a good little whore today though. Wore jeans and a baggy t-shirt, yet even this many men still find attractive.
\ Not in this thread, really. I'm not sure you said anything with this group of words. How would you rather package the issue? What I've been trying to ask is : Why do people just go along with whatever the trend is? I think women are more concerned with what other WOMEN think. Marie has already demonstrated the competetive mindset of fashion.
I, for one, am all for women exposing their goodies for the world to see. Normally, you've got to buy a girl dinner, take her to a movie, pretend to be interested in all the crap she loves to talk about, etc, etc for the chance to see that stuff. Alternatively, you could go to a strip bar, pay a cover charge, buy the minimum number of drinks, and then stick a dollar in the stripper's thong. No more. Now these women are doing it for free! Next, we'll convince them to express their freedom and individuality via free lap dances!
Your right women get nice matching clothes and manicures and pedicures, and boob jobs, and everything else because they want to be accepted by women and want all other women to be envious of their perfection. Its true. When you think about it a lot of men don't care about most of that stuff anyway. I'm proven wrong time and again when I think I look terrible and by women standards I do, but men still go out of their way to flirt with me. Just like today.
Behold: The evolution of the female chauvanistic pig. Why have men devalue you to just a sex object, when you can do it yourself?!
Because it makes me feel good about myself. I really don't care what other men think about me. I'm not searching for a sexual partner at the moment. And for the most part I don't buy into it. I usually wear jeans and a sweatshirt with tennis shoes and a hat everyday. If I was a true fashionista then I would never even consider wearing what I do. But I don't have to impress any one, in fact it may be an effort to go unnoticed so that so strange guy will come up to me and start a conversation I don't want to have. But dressing frumpy doesn't work and neither does dressing like a slut. Of course sometimes I do this just to make other women jealous that I can wear slutty stuff and still look hot when they can't. I'm such a bitch. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Everything on my terms. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Besides who cares what men think? Guys think your hot no matter what apparently. So impressing women is the real challenge. It takes the perfect balance in order to pass the test.
Whether men pick up/misinterpret sexual cues is a matter of how much cum is in control of the brain function. Speaking for myself only, I get to the point where my brain basically shuts down until I get laid. Good thing I'm married. Sadly that's the state most men are in most of the time, I think. Hence, masturbation should be encouraged. If we were encouraged to shoot a load before making any potentially serious decisions our species would advance exponentially.
Why do you care about impressing other women? Think about this... You daon't care about fashion, but you buy fashionable clothes to impress other women who don't care about fashion, but buy fashinable clothes to impress you. You are all fools but the fashion designer.
Apparently you're in the minority because complaints like yours don't pop up very often. I grew up in an era when skirts came below the knees, high school students were in bed by 10:30 every night, and none of us knew anyone who had ever had intercourse. If anyone has a right to be the cranky old curmudgeon complaining about the younger generation going to hell, it's me. And I don't. So you can get over yourself, unless you're really enjoying this. Yeah, I'm surprised more hasn't been made of the things MEN do that work against the maintenance and advancement of civilization. Is a girl with her woo-woo showing really in the same category as little boys who never grew up starting wars? If you were really a hermit, there'd be so much stuff going on in the city to object to that you'd never even get around to complaining about ladies' fashions. Yeah, the 1960s and 1970s were the Golden Age. Even us math and science majors were getting laid. Guys are not fashion conscious. Our women have to drag us into the store to get us to wear something besides blue jeans and t-shirts. Most men don't think about what they're going to look like when they go out. Most women do. Dude, that's an oxymoron. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
