Can you come up with some funny names used by real/imaginary tribute acts? I got these: Jeff Leopard. Ray CDC. Joe Asis. Dwight Snake. Ron Jovi. (Indian prog rock tribute act) Hardeep Purple. (Muslim 80s New Romantic band) Quran Quran. I did have more stored on my mobile but it just crapped out on me. Who knew Nokias couldnt swim in the toilet?
A couple of real ones Hells Belles (AC/DC) and Crack Sabbath (jazz interpretations of Black Sabbath) come to mind.
At Bonnaroo this year there was an all girl Zeppelin cover band named Lez Zeppelin. They were really good, but I don't think the singer had a voice that was high enough to pull it off quite right.
Mr. Spock and the Tuprings -with special guest- Scotty from the Grave When I get some new strings for my Gibson I'm a'gonna launch this band. Will update you.
(Religious 80s metallers) Guns 'n' Moses. Also, once saw AC/DC cover band called AB/CD (really lame, I know, but still makes me chuckle!)
