I was just curious if anything of significance happened on this date? The reason why I'm asking is that my this was the date my digital watch suddenly changed to for no reason whatsoever.

Any ideas? Comments? Or is this just plain ludicrous?

So far, that date doesn't really give me a recall of anything of significant.

    *shrugs* Any ideas anyone?

Ummmm maybe your watch just happend to break on that day? You see, it's really not that far fetched an idea, you see, because sometimes watches break, and any watch which breaks must do so at some defiinate point in time (Well unless it slowly looses time or gains time or something, but for that we'd need to lay down looser ground rules for "broken"). My theory is that your watch is one of many which has broken in the past (I've had a few myself) and that that particular date just happend to be the particular point in time which it broke, without any paranormal explanation. . . then again it could be spirits of dead aliens released from a solar flare.

mystech who ever heard of a watch breaking before it was ever built? I mean that would be something to put in a x-file.

So? Big deal! Maybe it had some kind of recall from a former "watch-life".

Anyways, is this thread actually going to lead somewhere?

Why don't you yourself provide some facts about events which happened on May 2 -1995, Doomz02?

    Make it worthwhile please...

Uhm, excuse the bashing you moron. I'm asking What, that mean's that I DON'T KNOW. On top of another thing, it CAN be a big deal even if it seems useless to you for any reason whatsoever. To have a watch simply change it's time for no apparent explaination is of major significance in my views.

That does not give you the right to base and slander other's views. AND PEOPLE WONDER WHY PEOPLE KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT WHEN IMPORTANT EVENTS TAKE PLACE.

First off, I question the suitability of this topic on watches, (by itself) residing in Pseudoscience.

There is the possibility that the battery may be weak, contacts corroded, or even some looseness within that may have given a temporary and very short lived brake in the electrical source. Usually when power is cut off there is a bit of time before the circuits die, due to capacitors holding charge for a while. When such occurs, and there is low power within the circuits things start having trouble remembering what they were keeping track of.

    Not so mysterious...

    On May 2, 1995:

1995 Michael Hordern actor (Fool, Green Man, Scoop), dies at 83
1995 "Hamlet" opens at Belasco Theater NYC for 121 performances
1995 Expos bat out of order against Mets in 6th inning
1995 Serb missiles exploded in the heart of Zagreb, killing six

Kinda funny to because May 2 is around the time that the Kentucky Derby starts. And on May 2 I remember that a horse named Real Quiet won. Oh and it was also the 124th Kentucky Derby. GO CARDS! (Local football)

If your watch wasn't even made on the mentioned date, then how could it exist for you to notice it change time on the same date in the first place?

Haha, would that be because you aparently lack the ability to judge what an important event is? haha! Hey, my computer crashed the other day, maybe there is some sort of conspiracy or paranormal explanation behind it. . . or it could just be Microsoft striking again!

Still, though, I think we should get the FBI involved, if this doesn't fall under their jurisdiction, then by God, what does!?

Hey Doomz don't get so worked up not everyone was bashing you. I had an idea, maybe you were taken through time in an instant and your watched actually got set to the other time. Probably not but it's fun to think about.
