"TAMPA - A former Auburndale police officer was accused by detectives today of meeting a 15-year-old girl online and soliciting her for sex, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

Jerad Moxley, 25, of 340 W. Assembly St., Eagle Lake, was charged with solicitation of a minor via the Internet.

Moxley began communicating with the girl Sunday, sheriff's spokeswoman Donna Wood said. When Moxley went online today he began chatting with someone who he thought was the girl but was actually a detective, Wood said."

I think that it is illegal to act as a 15 year old girl wanting for sex as it is illegal to cooperate with a girl 15 years of age wanting sex.

in a country that makes it illegal, yes. In a country that says it is legal, no.

 

Girls mature at muuuuuch earlier age then men.

depends on which country I live in. If I live in USA and they say it is illegal, yes I think it is evil. If I live in Japan and they say it is legal, I think it is not evil.

For me, if a girl gives consent for sex, it means its good to go and she is sexually mature in the first place, but that said only when the law says I can do it.

 

To heck with countries laws.

Say the government collapses tomorrow, and total anarchy ensues. There is no law, no gov't, nothing. Would you think it is Evil for a 25 year old man to sleep with 15 year old girl?

 

if she says yes to sex, than yes I think it is ok, but only if the government is gone and the laws are no longer against it.

And even if a girl did tell me she wants sex, a 15 yeard old or a 20 year old...does not matter...if she did say she wanted to have sex I would decline, if she took off her clothes and started masturbating or something, than I would run away from her and mast. myself alone to relieve the tension. And that is how I handle such situations, because for me to have sex with a girl means I have chosen her to be forever my woman...and I need to know her much more as well as make sure she is the one for me, that she is healthy, sexy, and most importantly is intelligent and possess a degree in sciences.

specifics only matter to the legal system because its to hard for them to be general (ie work out if both parties involved understand what they are concenting to and arnt cohersed into it). Lots of countries have different ages of concent.

Hell in Victoria for instance the age of concent is 16 UNLESS its with someone who has a responcability for you like a step parent or a teacher in which case its 18

In SA on the other hand its 18 full stop.

So what should we take from this? That teenages in SA are stupider than those in victoria? or that its a silly law that should really be made consistant across the whole country

Here is another example. age of concent is 16 in vic yet if you FILM it (for personal use for example) then you have just made child porn and have comited a criminal offence even if both parties concent

 

YES, only if the country says it is legal thou. If not, then I will either wait till she turns 18 or take her to Japan were it is legal and do it there.

in UK the age of consent is 16 and it should be left that way, and anyone who has sex with anyone under the age of 16 should be arrested and tried for statatory rape!

I think if the girl/woman is post puberty and is emotionally mature enough for it, as in she is not still a child on the inside, then it is morally acceptable.
