Wiccans believe that when you die, you are reincarnated instantly into another body. Maybe reincarnation actually exists, but you can't tell because when it happens, you have no memory of your past life.

    The bottom line:

    Don't worry about it.

    Death huh?

Death huh? Not so scarry really. Is there really any good reason to sit and worry about it? Pain I'm afraid of, but not death. From an atheist's perspective (well, mine anyway) I suppose it's just like someone said previously that it's like going to sleep and not getting up. What's to worry about?

As far as jumping off bridges Rowen, it's an awful lot of fun if you have a parachute on your back. Not because death is imminent, but because it makes you feel more free than you have ever felt in your life. Good enough to risk doing it again and again (particularly when you know enough about the gear to realize that it's not really that dangerous).

Krystina 661, are you worried about "what's it all about"? I have discovered that it is about whatever is most important to you, and those you love. You pick. That also makes you feel quite free.

I don't think I've ever been afraid of dying. Everyone does it eventually. No way to avoid it. So it's not worth worrying about.

Pain, on the other hand, truly sucks. That's far more worrying.

    Re: Death huh?

What I worry about most is being alone, not having something much greater, who created a life from start to exist.. I mean, doesn't there have to be? There has to be something that started anything to be anything, no matter how much you think about it, that has to be true right?

"Life is a mighty river. That river eventually hits a hydroelectic power plant. The river is then forcing to flow throught tiny holes in the concrete. The mighty river is then diverted as drinking water. Some little kid drinks up the river and then pees it back out. Starting the cycle over again"
    -Mrs. Johnson (my philosophy teacher)

That's an honest quote. I can't begin to guess at what she meant. Anybody care to take a guess.

This is tricky and very hard to answer. Rarely is this an intellectual problem. so...

Find an emotion solution that you can accept. Embrance the idea that it is unknown or find a belief/faith that will satisfy your emotions. Some people can go through life ignoring the issue, some don't. If you feel you need too, then do spend the time sussing it out. But remember what is important is the way YOU feel.

Many many people go or have gone through this, you are definitely not alone. But you will need to find your own answer. It IS tough going, but hang in there, the answer always appears eventually.
